Vote for Chas Ruth! The only qualified candidate in this race.

Being a military veteran , especially a wartime vet is GREAT. He should be honored for serving his country.

But being a veteran has little to do with being a District magistrate. Those who USE the laws and have done so for a LONG time know them the best.

Going from PD to PD is problematic. Full time here , part time there etc.

Laird and Ruth have been long time officers with the SAME dept. and have decades of experience in using the laws in a District magistrates courtroom.

Siegal cannot compare to this. He has an edge over Ruth since he is certified for the job but when it comes to TIME on the job ( EXPERIENCE), Laird has the double edged sword.

Laird doesn't have any bronze stars from the military but he DOES have decades of experience. Which makes a person a better trier of the facts ??

Almost every platoon leader (2nd or 1st LT) gets a bronze star for doing a competent job overseas- yet he is acting like he was a combat hardened toughguy. Give him props for overseas service but dont make it out to be more than it is- there is no V for valor attached to that bronze star- so he does good paperwork as a leader is basically what that is. When he was in Iraq the troops were all leaving- meaning he prolly never went outside the wire-almost for sure never on combat patrol.

Check with any professional police officers in York or Adams County. Ask about his job performance and ability, and then you'll know why he was tossed from so many departments. Bad choice for an important position like MDJ. My vote is for Laird or Ruth. Both worked hard for many years as professionals and earned your vote.
