Lawyers and policemen should not be allowed to be judges. It's a conflict of interest, being that they have brought the court system their business as a primary part of their job.

Its not a conflict if they are only doing one of the jobs. Im sure a DJ would recuse them selves if the situation required it.

Rick's the only guy who had a department closedown then open up a few days later just to get rid of him. There's a reason he's a "part-timer" and not a full-time officer.
Thank you! This will help me decide who to vote for!

I could use a bunch of very long, hard to spell and not commonly used words to describe Scott Laird who this guy is running against but instead I will keep it simple. Laird will serve his community with a passion for doing what is right.

District Justices are severely an uneducated group. Only a High School degree is required. Thats right, a college degree or law degree is not required for this position. They do get trained however on how to employ a staff of lazy impolite overweight middle-aged ladies for the office.

That's not very peaceful or grammatically correct...should we strip your voting rights as well?

Anyway, Vote with your mind, not your heart.

Go Laird!!!!!!!!!!
I am still miffed that he didn't call a clipping penalty a few months ago but I will have to get over it and vote for Laird. I love it when officials throw a flag then get together and talk about it, then pick it up and wave it off. That's sweet. Laird should become a basketball official. They work so much harder than those football dudes.

Siegel has worked for how many DIFFERENT departments over the years ? He is one of those officers that bounces from dept. to dept. If he cant even maintain a steady job with the police.....

Laird is the BEST choice. He is very knowledgeable and knows the laws.

Siegel claims that he has the certifiaction already done to take the office but he did it in 2003. The DJ certifiaction is only good for 2 years and than the candidate has to repeat the ENTIRE school.

So the pics on his facebook page of his certificate are MISLEADING.

__________

Charles Ruth doesn't stand a chance and his only glimmer of hope is that people even recognize his name.
