No doubt Spendburgh had to run his big mouth, he must have the lime light to survive.

Yes he spoke, but funny thing...after he was introduced, no one in the stadium clapped. The silence was deafening, and entertaining, to those who have been force to put up with him. People started looking around at each other clearly enjoying the lack of response he got. Then twice, during his speech, someone threw an airhorn up to the track to drown out what he was saying......

Hope the Board squirmed as they watched a man they have supported financially and otherwise, receive NO support from thousands of people living in the District.

Obviously you have never heard the man speak. I, I, I, I; every other word. I'm puzzled by the fact that his head fits through the doorway.

Not really sure what your point is but Stephen Payne did an outstanding job in his speech. Funny and entertaining and repeated what the teachers have said since these kids were in Middle School - that they were the worst class to go through. He simply pointed out their accomplishments, as well. Isn't that what graduation speeches are for- celebrating success? Why is that a problem for you?

Oh yes...China. The place where Dallastown taxpayers paid to SEND Weinberg so he could investigate adding Mandarin Chinese into the Language department.

And had we added it, I'm sure we'd be furloughing those teachers as well. Another reminder of how he and the Board have fleeced the taxpayers.

If his big head didn't fit, I'm sure we would have to pay for the opening to be expanded at any cost with the best materials known to man. The spineless (now fired) board members would have supported his overspending request to the end. Know wonder we are broke. Weinberg and the board created the problems, now they all must go.

Self-pitying people are the problem.

Thank you for your input Dr. Weinberg. I'm sure you enjoyed your vacation on us.
The TRUTH that HURTS is the wasted tax dollars we have spent on him, and his whims.
Being one and the same person as "Only in D'town", we most certainly would NOT have to open your head in an ATTEMPT to improve your abilities, as there are not materials available to come close to repairing your damage. Besides, if an attempt would ever be made to repair your mental problems, you couldn't sit for a year. Thanks for the China vacation, dumb a##!

You haven't accomplished a thing because you graduated from high school. So far in life you've been on an 18 year vacation. It used to be that now was the time the work began. But today many kids don't leave home for another 10 or so years. Some never leave. But when mommy cuts the cord and you're on your own, then maybe you'll appreciated the lush life you had in high school.

Who exactly is monitoring this forum? Deleting posts that point out that Dallastown taxpayers funded the Superintendent's trip to China to investigate a course offering in Mandarin Chinese?!? I don't get it.

Actually, maybe I do. Weinberg's coveted tech department personnel moonlights over the summer (when they are not getting their undergrad credits paid for by the District) as topix forum monitors. Anything that exposes the truth about frivolous spending in Dallastown gets deleted...

Yep, he always has been good at manipulating the media.

No problem. There are other ways to get the truth out there.
