So I'm any mom anywhere. I have a daughter serving in Iraq right now. She was not among the lucky troops that got to leave early. I'm the only parent that sends her care packages, She spent her 19th and 20th b-day there alone, along with every holiday that exist. It looks like she will not be home for Christmas again, and most of her unit also.
I don't know where to post this or how to ask, but would there be any of you interested in sending a care package to these kids? I need help.
I just want them to have a good Christmas.

Could you email me with more information on this? I'm trying to start a care package group at school, but our principal wants us to help someone close to us. Where are you from?

Thank you so much for caring Destiny. I will send you an e-mail with info.
I'm from Dallas, and my daughter is as well. We both went to school there.
I can't tell you how much it means that someone is actually sincere in surpporting our troops, especially our Gaston county troops.
Please let me know what I can do to help, they apppreciate this, and I appreciate this.
Thank you. God Bless.

Destiny,

Thank you so much for just caring. My daughter joined the Army at 17, just a few days shy of her 18th birthday. It's what she has always wanted to do. She says that she is going to make a career out of the Army, she dropped out of college to join. She has always been an overacheiver, she graduated HS at 15.

Any way, she is there, she is alone, and she alway asks for the most simplest things. Razors, magazines, and gummy candy.

Her name is Caitlyn (Caity Cat) and she's homesick.
Here is her addy:
PFC Hoskins, Caitlyn
FOB ECHO (C-RAM)
APO AE 09332

Even a letter, or a word of encouragement would make her day.

If you have any more questions just drop me a line.
I applaud and appreciate you for taking the initive to support our troops.

A soldiers mon,
Jen
