What to do when your husband abandons you?

My husband didn't come home from work Wednesday and I haven't seen him since. I am a stay at home mother of 3 kids. He texts me about every 23 hours (probably so I don't file missing person report.) But what legal action do I need to look into?

1. Call his mom
2. Call a lawyer
3. Call your boyfriend
4. Call your brother, to kick his ass.

Any of the above should produce some sort of result.

Call all three of the fathers of the kids. Ask if they will send money.

Call your Mom, tell her you're moving home. She'll be thrilled.

Call your boyfriend. Let him know that after you have the 4th kid, you're gonna start picking better men.

Place a personals ad on Craigslist.

Start flirting with your landlord, he will be important to have on your side for the next 2 or 3 months.

I suggest you go to the bank and empty any joint checking and savings account and then find a good attorney. Oh, if you can, cancel any credit cards you have together. Try to leave him hanging like he has his family. Good luck!

I am so sorry to hear this, I can tell you are really in pain. Please disregard the jerky comments about becoming a prostitute.

File a missing person report ASAP. Even if he's a jerk, he is out of his pattern, I hope you have life insurance on him just in case something happened. Hopefully not! Please contact the police right away! How many accidents are there in one day? He could be in a ditch where no one has seen him, or he could be in the hospital as a John Doe.

If something did happen; the longer you wait the more likely you are to be a suspect. Call the police if you have not already, do it now and report him as missing. Whether he has abandoned you (which you have no reason to think he has, because he always texted you at least once a day before) or something happened to him the police need to start a search for him, the sooner the better!

I'm from New Mexico came to Texas to visit my family have not seen my husband in 3 days call the hospital call jail not to be found yes all the fun stuff I have no money and get money for my relatives just to make it home :(

I worked all my life and had three kids..and a Husband.who also had a good job ...I made plenty of money if he left didn't need his income never depend on a DAMN Man it show weakness,,
