must be a bunch of democrats wanting something for nothing and someone else pay for it.I am sure chic-fil-a could give military a discount, but then their meals would have to go up and you would BITCH about that also.Problem is.... military comes in, brings their entire family and gets a discount, then chic-fil-a has given the food to them at their cost. When chic-fil-a's power bill comes, do the military help pay it..HELL NO! If your wanting something for nothing, maybe you need to go to mcdonalds and get a $1 burger and leave chic-fil-a to people who WORk for a living and can afford to eat there.
Larry, stop being an a-hole. Just because a military person inquires about a military discount doesn't. Mke them a democrat. I've served 16 years. I inquire about military discount everywhere. Keep in mind that if it wasn't for these men and women, these buisnesses would not exist because we would not be a free society. Oh and just for the record if it wasn't for them you wouldn't have the eight to be an a-hole either

When was the last time (or first) you served your country? I think that Vietnam and numerous other hellholes over my 20+ years service entitle me to a little discount. You were probably 4F or in Canada!!!

We all appreciate military service and many on here are veterans. However, the word "entitle" is scary. Remember to separate private and public sector, stupid. Entitled, my butt.

Chickfila does give military discounts as long as they are in uniform but its up to the individual operators whether they give the discount or not, it's not required.... Speaking as an employee!

how can a teacher teach you anything when they themselves, are products of the system. Why is it that the last 50 years the kids that come uot of school are lazy, broke and owe more than they are making. When was the last time you saw a teacher that had everything paid for, had cd's in the bank and had used her past wisely to invest and become wealthy.HOW do you teach someone else to build wealth when you yourself are broke as hell and pay an extra $35 for your tag to say EDUCATOR? Everytime see a educators car, I wonder just HOW much that teacher is from being broke paying extra for a prestige tag when they bitch and moan about their pay.SPEND IT WISELY instead of giving more than necessary back to the government.
Wow. I hope english is your second language.

What a shame that Chick-fil-a which is a so called christian company gives police officers up to 50% meal discounts and thats fine because I think they deserve it to for thier service. But DOES NOT give a military discount to active duty military service members in or out of uniform.
An active duty soldier just returned from 18 months of hell and earn many awards to include a purple heart could not even get a meal discount. This was a The HWY 5 and Thornton Rd. location. When I called the corporate office they stated they do not offer the military discounts and sounded like they could have cared less. SO I WILL SPREAD TO MILITARY FAMLIES TO BOYCOTT CHICK FIL A !!! and support all of our service member's who are overseas fighting so that we may have freedom.
I can think of better places to boycott.

I think our soldiers are great and am an active member of Soldier's Angels, but I do not think that businesses are obligated to give discounts to anyone. As someone else said, i just makes the price go up for everyone else. I suppose the reason that they give law enforcement a discount is that Chick-fil-a and their patrons benefit by having a police presence in their stores.
They benefit off the military by having national and global security genius. Why shouldn't military get it too? Cops atleast get to go home at the end of the day if they aren't killed or injured on duty. Military members overseas don't get that luxury while being at risk of injiry or death at the same time.
