America is watching. Give Barry his way on these tax increases or plan to turn over control of the House in 2 years. Then you will get it without the lubricant.

Now people that do not agree with Obama and the Democrats as well as some Republicans are being threatened.
Not a very good way to win any support.

No threat. It's just a fact. The Reps mess around with this fiscal cliff thing and it will be the end of the party. Boehner knows this. If they don't play this hand right, they're out of the game.

The republicans are out of the game anyway. It won't matter.

You libs will rue the day you ever voted for him. You can't see it now, but you will.

This is really very simple, we don't need a tax increase.we need the following
1. stop wasting money
2. shrink the federal government
3. stop foreign aid
4. stop rewarding being welfare dependent
5. start rewarding / encouraging hard work
6. secure our borders
7. flat tax rate across the board
8. have a government that uses common sense for the common good of these United States

The Republicans are out of the game anyway. What do they care? Have you ever thought that the two parties just play good cop and bad cop?
I think that this country has single party disguised a two party system.
I also think we should just go off the cliff and take it a day at the time. Let Obama do what he wishes as long as it is legal and just see where this whole mess ends up. Then in 4 years we will see just how much the American people loves the Democratic Party.
This country needs a real party to run against the Republicans and the Democrats. A party that would stand up for all Americans. A party that doesn't hold it against a person for being wealthy or poor. A party that encourages individuals to get ahead in life and to prosper on their own. A party that doesn't put one race or religion against another.
If the Republicans give in then this proves just what I have said about there being no real difference in the parties. All the politicians will be a Democrat or just a Republican in name only. Why even bother to vote as there will really be only one party.
I think in time you and others will become very disenchanted with this setup. I think that many people already are and some have finally started to figure it out.

Sure - what money are we wasting and how much does it add up to?
Just Sayin wrote:
shrink the federal government
Sounds good. Um, what does this mean exactly? I doubt you know. And what are the consequences of doing "whatever it is you're suggesting?"
Just Sayin wrote:
3. stop foreign aid
Exacty! Let's quit givin' our hard earned money to those 'furriners' when we need that moolah right here in Amurica!

It sounds great after a 6-pack at the monster truck rally. In reality foreign aid is some of the most effective defense spending we do. Yeah- we're giving money to angry idiots who want to kill us, but it still achieves a lot of goals.
Just Sayin wrote:

Ok. I know that you're talking about the stereotypical image of a welfare leach that everybody hates. The truth is the vast majority of welfare dollars go to Americans who need a temporary hand.

Do you know our federal welfare only adds up to 5.5% of the federal budget, and is less than half of what we grant in oil subsidies? It's a fact. Corporate welfare is FAR more expensive than making sure little kids get a healthy lunch.
Just Sayin wrote:
5. start rewarding / encouraging hard work
Well, as long as we're just shooting our mouths off and not having any serious conversation, why not include this? It sounds pretty good.
Just Sayin wrote:
6. secure our borders
Sounds good. How do you propose to do that? What does your solution cost? How many Canadians can we stop per Billion dollars in tax money spent?

Honestly, the goal is good. It's just easier to say than to do and pay for.
Just Sayin wrote:
7. flat tax rate across the board
That's one of the better ideas you've had. It simply can't work. At least not quite. But it could be close to possible. You'd have to make it a bit progressive on the lowest few points and the highest few points, but mostly flat without exemptions sounds good. Just don't go talking about the "Fair Tax" which is anything but fair.
Just Sayin wrote:

Well that sounds great! It really does! I just have a question though: What language would we have to use in that bill to make it past the Supreme Court? Oh! I forgot - we're just shootin' the crap like they do on the talk radio stations! We're not really being serious. Maybe we should start being serious though.

Actually, most republiKKKans like getting it that way. They don't call it the gay old party for nothing. But here's some more advice for them: leave the country with your propaganda ministers, Kneel Booring and Rush Limpdick. And never, ever, return.

Aw, B-man. I don't want to spoil the surprise. I know how you libs like surprises. That's why you just love to see the mail delivery person coming down the road. "Will the check come today???" Surprise! The check is here!
Tell me, B-man. Do you choose your numbers or use Quik Pick?

What if we are?

We still won't have a president who:

1. Wants to start a trade war with China
2. Who puts his dog on top of the car for a road trip.
3. Who managed to piss off our very best allies over a non-political subject.
4 Beats up people and forcibly cuts their hair
5 who......

Ah - screw it. You don't care, and even if you did you wouldn't get it. You just want to bash Obama-

I'm thinking the Republicans (or anyone, for that matter) taking advice from a clueless liberal is quite laughable...

Perhaps Coca-Cola will rely on him/her for advice for new products, Mickey D's will ask for advice about new menu items...

It doesn't take much common sense to respond a post and keep things in quotes. But it doesn't look like you've got enough of it.

You want to write a bill, it requires LANGUAGE - DUMBASS. You're either talking about real solutions or you can just shoot a bunch of BS out of your mouth. It's clear which one you're doing.

B-man. You are out of your depth. There is no place for your double standard in this discussion. You need to stick with the racist comments of which you are an expert.
