Dear god, what is her name, the woman who died in the crash? If someone knows, send me an e-mail at [email protected], I'm afraid it might be someone I know.

Mile marker 15-
We passed the accident about a minute after it occured. There were a few people checking on the drivers. The driver of the Expedition was slumped over the steering wheel. Our hearts broke when we saw the two vehicles. The van was completely crushed and we knew it was impossible to survive. Our prayers to the families of these victims...

The man in the van was very sweet and loved dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to both of the victims families. I heard the lady in the SUV had a stroke and hit the van head on.

The woman killed in the SUV was my aunt. She is a very spiritual lady and has devoted her entire life to serving the LORD. The only peach we have is knowing that GOD has called her home and she is now at peace with HIM. She leave behind a husband of almost 50 years, 4 loving children, 3 grandchildren, 1 unborn grandchild, 2 sisters, and many other nieces and nephews. She had the most gentle and kind soul, always giving money, clothing, etc. to the poor. She always did everything she could for her family. GOD and family came first in her life. We are all extremely devasted not only for her but the other driver as well. Two precious lives were lost yesterday. Our only solace is that they are now at home with the LORD. There are 2 more angels in heaven. If anyone saw this accident happy, pls contact me at [email protected] Please keep our families in your prayers, we are going to need it.

We are not sure what happened to our Aunt that caused the accident, but it must have been a stroke or heart attack. For as long as I can remember she has always been a woman who greatest pleasures in life were God & her family. She never sought material trappings. She gave love to everyone she knew and unconditional love to her entire family. She was a three time survivor of cancer and even in her lowest moments she was always upbeat and positive about tomorrow. Everyone who ever met her loved her from the moment they met. She would go out of her way to help anyone she thought needed it and sometimes even neglecting herself in the process. She will be missed so much by everyone, but especially her sister Marie who said they were more like twins than just sister's because they could feel what each other was feeling... The world is a lot less cheery with her gone. The only solace is that she live a full life with lots of love all around her then & now. Our hearts and prayers go out to the other victims family too.

Her name is Carolyn Ellis & if you did know her and want to send flowers.. Please send a donation instead for her family's expenses. The family certainly could use it instead of flowers. C/O:

She was a very giving & caring woman who loved to search out families in need. This is the only reason the family asks that in lieu of flowers that you find a family or church in your area and help them with their needs in remembrance of our Mom....The family is not in need of any financial help. Thanks for your concern...but we know like our Mom knew that there are families in need in your area. This is the legacy that our Mom has left.

Waylon Blackmon was the other driver killed in the accident. He was a Godly man that loved and treasured his family. He was dearly loved by all that knew him. He leaves behind a wife, two sons, a daughter, and five grand children. It sounds as though heaven gained two new angels yesterday.

This is a real tragedy to some but to her I would bet she would be completely satisfied where she is. She has met her creator and her life is complete. She has completed her tasks that God has given her. To the family...I would say just know that one day you will be with her again and if she could tell you all about where she is it would take her too long to ever get to tell you from this earth. She drove right into the hands of Jesus. Husband, children, grandchildren, and sister don't be broken hearted but sing for joy because you can rest assured that she is dancing and singing herself with an excellent voice now. You will make it without her just make the best out of your life while you are still given the chance and love everyone no matter what happens. We don't have time for hatred, bitterness or any other hard feelings. We must all fullfill what God has planned for us to fullfill while we can.

Dear Blackmon Family: You have our most sincere sympathy for your loss. It's obvious that Waylon is blessed with a wonderful family just like Carolyn's. Even though we are suffering a loss, I take comfort that God called them home for a reason. I can't wait to see what good works they will do from Heaven. I live by the mantra 'God's will be done.' I believe it was devine what happened yesterday. Even though we don't understand it, everything will reveal itself in due time. I already know of a positive story to come out of this. A short while ago a friend told us that she and her sister had an argument some time ago and weren't speaking. Our loss provoked her to make amends with her sister today. Even in death, our loved ones are still touching and changing lives. We should now celebrate their lives and thank God that we had as much time with them as we did. Both families are truly blessed to have these people as part of our family.

Waylon Blackmon was a GREAT man and loved his Lord and Savior. He gave more than any man I have ever met in my life. I never saw him dislike anyone or mistreat anyone. He loved his family like God loves the Church. I was very hurt to see him taken away in this way along with Carolyn. I even showed my anger toward God. Then I realized Daddy would not want me to be that way. I am his youngest of three.

I will always miss my Dad. Waylon Blackmon was the best man that I have ever known. It would have crushed him to know that another person died besides himself. He was the best father, friend and role model. I am his youngest of three. We all live in Cedartown. This has been the worst 2 days of my life. I trust that God was ready for him, but it does not help my pain and anger. I was so mad at God when I heard the news from the Trooper. I have spent time in prayer and God has given me some peace. God I ask you to do the same for Carolyn's family and friends.

To the Blackmon family....
I am Carolyn's niece. We are so heartbroken over this horrible tragedy that took your loved one and ours much too soon. Words cannot even descibe the pain that I know we all share. We are so sorry for your loss and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
"Our Carolyn" was the kindest , gentle and most loving person. She truly did live by her strong faith in God and for her family. She was a wondeful role model. I had the honor and pleasure of having her be a part of my life for nearly 50 years. I will miss her sweet laughter and hold on to all the wonderful memories she has given our family.
God Bless You All...

Jonathan, all that knew your Daddy, loved your Daddy. He was always positive, graceous, and kind. He eminated the light of Jesus, and touched so many lives. All of his children were blessed to have him as their Daddy.(I know all of you,) and I know he was proud of all of you.
We've been praying for the whole family and especially his children and your mother since we heard the devestating news. You are All VERY special to us.

On the bright side of this sad situation, is we know where he is now. He worked his whole life to be with our Lord and Savior.

When I read the news article and the posts from the other vehicle involved, I rejoiced that Heaven received 2 special angels. You know your Daddy was greeted by family members and most importantly Jesus and God. That gives so much peace and comfort. From what the Ellis families posts says Ms. Carolyn too was Saved, and thats comforting.

May God continue to be with all of us during the next couple of hard days, may both families feel the prayers that have been asked in lifting their families needs, and most importantly may peace be felt.

We love you Jonathan.
