A tiny minnow, known as the Nooksack Dace, has won a giant of a victory!

Through our legal partner, Ecojustice, Environmental Defence and three other groups have won a lawsuit against the federal government.

We argued that the government had broken its own law by failing to protect the habitat of this endangered fish. The Judge agreed.

The decision is a tremendous victory and will ensure greater protection of species-at-risk and their habitats across Canada.
