WMJ, On your page, you indicate that you believe in "treating other people the way you wish to be treated" and "being a good person". I have read a few of your posts and I have yet to see one in which you are not name-calling in the form of "immoral, ignorant scum-bags" "who do not have a normal brain." Is this your idea of following the golden rule or do you just routinely assume such things about anyone who disagrees with you? The only book you mention is the Bible. Which part are you following when you write such intemperate insulting responses? WWJD?

<quoted text> Your right no rebuttal here, but that don't make it right either.Lots of money in the porn industry we all know that's a fact.I guess the thing is I believe in GOD and you must not, cause if you did you would not be defending stuff like this even though it's legal in man's form.Lets put legallities and money aside for just a few,do you really think this is good overall for our society and our kids?Just be truthfull to yourself and whatever you say I'll respect it.Remember you can't bring up that it's legal.
From what I am reading in your other post I sure dont believe you when you say I will respect what you say. So are you one of those do as I say not as I do people. Can you say Randal Tobais or Pastor Hubbard or a whole lot of other people who fit the mold. You or anyone else cannot get me or anyone into heaven. So save your self and spare the rest of us your heart break. As for your intention of wanting to turn to violance to get you point accross I hear they need all the help they can get in Iraq. You can make all the judgement you like on others it sure isnt helping your cause.

If you want to eliminate the "it's legal" argument, then go after the legislators. Make changes at the top and limit our rights rather than attacking an entrepreneur for operating a legal business you don't believe should be legal.

Regardless of moral issues, it seems utterly stupid to bang your head against a wall going after participants in legal activities when what you really want is for the law to be changed.

You are trying to interpret laws to benefit your agenda rather than with the literal meaning with which they were written. Then again, that ideology has been perpetuated through time to justify one's actions with the Bible... regardless what the Bible actually says.

Why is this country so frightened of sex? It is an adult bookstore and they have stuff that deals with sex. As long as they aren’t displaying hardcore stuff in their windows then there should not be a big deal. If you don’t like the store or if that is not your kind of stuff then DON’T go in there. It is really just that simple. If you don’t like it then don’t go there. It is not going to hurt anybody. Just because there is an adult bookstore doesn’t mean it will force younger kids to go out and have sex. That store will never force anyone into it. It just bothers me to see people decide what is morally right and then try to force that onto other people. People have the right to find something morally corrupt, but at the same time they do not have the right to push that same belief on other people who do not find that store morally corrupt. If people would just stick their noses out of other peoples lives and be more concerned with their own we would be much better off.

I find it rather laughable that a society that has become so fixated on violence finds a natural act such as sex offensive.

No, the kids just have sex in school now days.

Eliminating the store gives parents one more excuse to avoid any discussion of sex with their kids and keep them sheltered, emotionally and intellectually packed away in a box.
