Definition of a Good Yankee: One who comes here from New York, marries a new black panther, adopts Rick Perry, and then goes back to New York. But if it finds out that you can get a large drink here it may never go back, hence becoming a DAMN YANKEE! Texas was a lot better place to live before Perry and his kind started getting those folks from other states to come here. Damn Yankees!

Quote of the Decade

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that,'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Right Wing policies attacking our Voting Rights and the security of our economics. Time to voice your nay’s for the 1% aristocrats.
Same ones that produced the devastating perfect storms of economic collapse in 2008 and in 1929. What do they offer?
Prepare for the return of serfdom and their magistrates, lords of the manner of old?.
WE The People are not so inclined to dismiss all the efforts our forefathers fought and died for to bring us to this point. Presently the greatest threat to our nation is the “Inequality of Wealth” That the “Right Wing” wants us to accept. Resurrect the noble aristocrats for us to serve. Yes the time has come to cast aside off the iron shackles of such ideologies and continue to pursue “Liberty, Truth, Justice and Happiness for all”
Presently the “Right” has suffered this nation into disgrace with their ever increasing “Inequality” policies. Observe a mathematical measurement that exposes the fallacies of the “Right Wing” and their inequality goals and how much they have achieved up to now.
http://neweconomy.net/content/wealth-inequali... video chart USA wealth Distributions.
For another take on this Inequality issue go see the movie “Inequality For All” now playing at a theater near you. Oct. 9 2013
Your ghettos will be the serfdoms, with gated communities to protect the nobles. Its all playing out right before your eyes. Mikey GO vote {2014}, the republicans out and see if you can help alter the rise of our aristocratic 1%.

Yeah thats about right for your mentality;
What is observed is the fragmentation of the republican party. Essentially the primary issue that is fragmentizing them is their stance on “Inequality For All”.
Globalization is demonstrating itself through out the world. Stimulating communication of the debt of “Inequality” within all national borders. Some to the extent of rebellion and others demanding change.
Republicans fragmentizing of their glass shell is demonstrating their inability to progress efficiently, in the brave new world that is emerging.
Shackled to archaic historical dogmatic Ideoloques. Fostering anger resentment, hatred, deceit, etc, etc,. Greasing the skids for their demise.

Well well Defiant Texan have exposed what the dregs are that has been fermenting their dysfunctional ideologies. Now republicans are no longer taken at their word. Too much deceit and propaganda to answerer for. Gallup poll has reached new record lows for approval and disproval ratings for the republican party. Both of you do yourselves a favor and put down that Tea addiction and seek the Almighty Truth to forgive you of your trespasses. Remember?
In the early hours of September 15, 2008, five years ago last Sunday, Lehman Brothers announced it would file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Lehman was a giant of the financial system -- the fourth-largest investment bank in the US, a firm that employed thousands of brokers and analysts, with billions in assets that were suddenly worthless -- and its collapse sent shock waves through the global economy.
Suddenly, it was obvious that the next president of the United States would inherit a staggering economic crisis. But the challenge that President Obama was forced to confront didn't just begin in 2008. Even before Lehman Brothers, middle-class security had been slowly eroding for decades as jobs became obsolete or were shipped overseas.
So as we mark this anniversary, we've asked senior staff from across the Obama administration to sit down and talk about the moment when key decisions were made -- the factors they weighed, the results of the actions that President Obama took. What we've put together is a behind-the-scenes look of the decision-making process that you won't find anywhere else.
Check out the story of America's recovery, then share it with your friends.
By the end of 2008, the economy was shrinking by an annual rate of more than 8 percent, our businesses were shedding 800,000 jobs a month, and credit was frozen for families and small businesses. We were in the midst of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. On the day that I first began working in the White House in 2009, the auto industry was on the brink of collapse and the President was wrestling with how to help the millions of families in thousands of communities who would have been devastated if the motor companies died.
That's the lens through which President Obama saw his responsibilities, and it's a consistent theme in all the stories we've collected. Every decision he made was meant to stop the economy from spiraling out of control, put people back to work, and reverse the trends that had buffeted middle class for decades. The task was nothing short of monumental -- to clear away the rubble of the crisis and lay down a new foundation for sustained economic growth in the United States.
There's no diminishing the severity of the challenge we've overcome together, and we’ve got a lot more work to do to rebuild an economy where everyone who works hard has a chance to get ahead. But five years after Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, we want to help everyone get the context and see the full picture.

Borrowing more money to pay off debt is like trying to build a house on quicksand. Try that at home, fool.

The only thing saving this country from total collapse is the fact that other countries would be pulling the the plug on themselves by taking away Obama's credit card.
