do you think money is more valauble than human life, those law enforcement officers who shot and killed that man will have to stand before god almighty and give an account for this heinous act.
You are by far the stupidest person I have ever encountered on here. Someone come to my house and wave a toy gun/real gun at me(without my knowledge)....you get shot...thats the way it goes....protect thy'self. Those officers did the right thing and you can guarantee that if it were to happen again..get the same result. I knew Ray and I was so shocked to hear of this but my husband is also a Deputy for White County and I commend those officers that handled this situation, so you my friend need to take your ignorant remarks and try them somewhere else. So my remark to you is this....you got a problem with law enforcement...next time your in trouble...call a crackhead!!!!

Ray would have given you anything he had. He was kind and not the criminal type. He recently met a woman wasn't good for him, he wasn't over his wife who passed away. He vanished a while and then appeared with strange behavior. Some things in his life had fell apart and I think he was miserable and wanted to die. I think this was suicide be a desperate man who couldn't hurt anyone including himself.

If law officers were told to check the gun out before they took action I think you know the law officer would die trying that one. Everyday a law officer goes out to a domestic or what might appear to you as a normal call but remember anything can go wrong and that law officer's family suffers for the rest of their life.
I think the man you call Ray made a very bad decision all the way around. I think he planned in advance most of the crime, but he must have felt confident he could outsmart the authorities for he stayed in the area.

It could have been 'suicide by cop.' This happens a lot. But it still comes as an act of self pity.

The reason I say this is, the cop that had to take his life must live with this forever. It's typical suicide mentality. Me,me,me. Not caring of loved ones, or the public servant who must take his life. Just him. I'm sorry, but a good person Ray was not. If you wanna commit suicide, go to the woods far far away and do it there.

Don't bring innocent others into your misery for the rest of their life. It's very sad either way.

Ray wasn't as great as a few people on this site made him out to be. He has been in and out of trouble almost all of his life. He would take advantage of anyone if he thought he could get away with it or stood to make a little money out of the deal. He lived with my family for a short period of time and was known to dishonest on several occasions. When his father (Jack Queen) was passing away a couple of years ago, he didn't even go to visit him in the hospital, nor did he come to the funeral. He did leave my parents to pay for his dad's funeral. Although I am not happy to see that he was shot to death. I have little repect for my cousin. He was a habitual liar, drug dealer, and thief. He moved around from place to place to avoid getting caught or after people caught on to him taking advantage of them.

I'm a close member to one of danny ray's family. And the thing is do any of you know what he was going through and how it happened? you cant judge a book by its cover, yeah it was wrong theres no doubt about that but do you really know what this man was going through? No doubt people could have got hurt but if you knew this man you know he wouldnt hurt anyone, hence a fake gun. He was a reprisentable guy is society and was known by many he paid the price for what he'd done but that gives knowone the right to say that there glad he got shot because try putting yourself in someone else's shoe's try losing someone close to you,the thing is were all in the wrong sometime you know, and things do get taken out of praportion but instead of listening to what gets presented on tv and instead of being gullable as to listen to everything that gets stirred around, try looking inside try putting yourself in someone elses shoes for a day. I'm not here to have a go or start yet more arguement's about wether or not it was right because its not worth it,you either understand or you dont. But i know he's up there watching and i know he'll understand just like many members such as his family and friends, that he was what everyone thought to be the perfect man, wether he knows it or not he really made something for the people around him and made being around him something to be happy about. he was a loved man,and at the time he thought he was doing a favour,i respect you all have opinions and yes there not all the same but i just think maybe sometimes you have to look deep into something to see whats really there. its one of those lessons in life.

For all of you that are against law enforcement using there authority to protect you. I say don't call them if anyone is pointing a gun in your face. They are really good folks. They didnt mean to rob that bank it was peer pressure.OOOOKKKKKKK.! Come on people grow a BRAIN.

I'm sure you can take care of it yourself.
What's going to happen is ..... it is going to get to the point where cop's are going to be afraid to protect you because of idiotic thinking like this.
