Homeless vets in the Chattahoochee National Forest

A year ago, I was a homeless architect, who had just set up camp near Neels Gap after over six months without a bed to sleep on. For two weeks, I interviewed homeless vets in this area, and sent in articles via a county library computer to the National Examiner. Those articles made me nationally famous, but unfortunately didn't add much to my income! LOL
The next to last night I was there, eight pickup truck loads of goons from from a nearby Baptist church attacked my camp. Things didn't go as planned. One thing the KKK has known for a long time ... that these neo-Nazi goons obviously didn't, you never, ever mess with a Creek Indian warrior.
Well, law enforcement tried to cover up the crime, because some of them were involved. As Gomer Pyle often said, "Surprise, surprise!" Guess who is a year later the most read columnist on the national staff of the Examiner?... so far 32,894 people from around the world this morning have read my new article on homeless vets.

I would like y'all to read it and ponder the sadism, insanity and self-centeredness fostered by the ultra-rightwingers, who have taken over our beloved State of Georgia. What I experienced was NOT the way our mountain people used to be. Being liars, sadistic, greedy and self-centered is not from the Bible. It is not the "American Way" It is from Satan.
Richard Thornton, National Architecture & Native American columist in the Examiner ... and here to stay in our mountains.
