A lot of uninformed people, posting here, but are missing facts. Always treated our family well, especially my kid. Don`t get me started on her worthless EX.

She's also a former defense attorney, too. So what if her sentencing was harsh for some people. If you're convicted of a crime you get sentenced.. As for rumors there's been tons, if she was suppose to resign because of them which one should she had picked, the rumors about her children, spouse, religious orientation, farm animals, the Dahlonega nugget, her campaign.. All of these rumors started as a part of a smear campaign Ridge Rairaigh thought up when they were running against each other. And as rumors do they snowballed into bigger things as more people started flapping their jaws. It's sad not more people know that.
You obviously don't understand how the Legal system is supposed to work! First, she was a defense lawyer about the length of time it takes a cup of ice to melt. Secondly she did not learn an important concept while defending people. The right to a jury trial is guaranteed by the "U.S. CONSTITUTION'S ARTICLE 3" and the "BILL OF RIGHT'S 6TH AMENDMENT". These are rights that when exercised are not to be punishable with extra years of incarceration, just because you are CONVICTED!!! In addition the "Blame it on Ridge" excuse/defense [WHOM I DO NOT KNOW OR SUPPORT] is getting a little threadbare. Did Ridge hypnotize her and make her drive to Judge Bagley's office and discuss the Stringer case? I think not! Judge Alderman's downfall was of the very least, of her own making and had been a long time coming.
Remember rumours are not always untrue as this quote illustrates:

Rumors are not news; but they sometimes foreshadow news.

Yes, I do feel she's doing a good job, but I don't rely on the AJC, I rely on court transcript: www.aboutforsyth.net
THE COURT:..."And when she came to see me---this is Jydge Alderman from the, Superior Court judge from the Enotah Circuit. And when she came to meet with me...She sat down with me and told me that, that---She provided me with copies of two sentences.y sentence and Judge High Stone's sentence...And she told me that it was her understanding that the defendant had served his Lumpkin County sentence...but that my sentence here in Forsyth County was never---Never made it to the Department of Corrections,
...She also told me that Mr. Stringer was doing well in his community. That he was-_I can't recall all of the details of what she told me, but she spoke favorably of Mr. Stringer.
And she told me that---Let's see, I believe it was---Senator Carl Rogers name came up, as well as Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagke's name came up in the conversation. I can't say for sure exactly how they came up.
...I got the impression that they had spoken to her about Mr. Stringer.
And so we left the conversation...and we would see what would need to be done".
The rest of the transcript goes on about a bunch of improper contact from other people, not Alderman.
Fact is, if Alderman hadn't brought the problem to Bagley's attention, Stringer wouldn't be back in prison.
AJC interviewed the judges, but decided to spin Alderman to sell papers. Turns out, the only Senator that talked to her mentioned Cagle and Rogers couldn't figure out what happened with the missing sentencing documents, and didn't know how to address it, so Alderman went to Bagley to inform him of the problem, nothing more.
Just not an interesting enough story for the AJC if they printed what really happened.
. She obviousle NEVER made a ruleing on your case!!! "Good ole boy system"!

To all the folks on here that says she did such a "good job" my ex husband pled guilty to fisrt degree crulity to chrildren for trying to suffociate my son and he got "supervisied visitation" with the family that defendes him to this day. Its not a grey system its balck and white and if you don't see the wrong in that then your just as guilty! This woman deserved what she got and I personally take PRIDE in thhe fact that I helped make it that way! May she rott in whever she came from but as a judge she should be asahamed... I can ony hope that she wouldn't. Let her own chrildren face the harm that mine did!

I think it would be cool to be a judge and get freaky in chambers ... wearing nothing under the robe .... man, I wish I had gone to law school.
