I live about a quarter mile from the Wildlife Preserve on Hwy 115 in Dahlonega.
I have been wondering how long it would be before I saw a lion or tiger at my window.
They don't seem that secure.

Someone said today at the Clermont town hall that the guy who owns that reserve in the Murrayville area has confessed that it was his lion and he does not have a license for it over the weekend. That place is a pit anyways and I feel so sorry for the animals there.

I can't verify it 100% Clermont is a small town and you know the one person that works in the city hall is a big gossip, but most of the time she is right. I was just relaying what I heard.

People commonly misunderstand what they see. I'm sure they are sincere, but are often mistaken. Size and other characteristics are hard to judge at a distance.

There was a Florida Panther shot (for no apparent reason) near Douglasville a few years ago.

People kill snakes up here thinking they are Water Mocassins, but they don't live this far North.(Dahlonega and neighbors)
