Time to be thankful for what we haave. Your points are good ones.<quoted text>I was an Army employee for over 20 years. I don't appreciate your comments. As a civilian, working 60 plus hours a week and traveling overseas under uncomfortable conditions, I didn't have the opportunity for subsidized child care, free medical, tax free shopping at the PX and dining facilities, free housing, etc. I'm sick of military and former military employees pouting "poor me!" Our soldiers, sailors, air men, marines and coast guard choose their profession, are currently getting good salaries and get extra help with employment
when they retire. I appreciate the "crap" our Service men and women have to accept when they go in the Service and hate that their country sends them where they should not have to/do not need to go and risk their lives. That should be appreciated; however,
military personnel should also appreciate their fellow citizens who are doing the best they can and paying their salaries, whether or not we agree with their mission.
