How can anyone answer this when they won't use their real names?

This poll is par for how things happen in Colonial Beach. No wonder this town is so effed up.

And people question why the Beach gets so much bad press. The people in this town are whacked.

Go ahead, judge me nuts, angry, racy, whatever you want.

we just need to elect people with common sense.......we do it so rarely around here.

I do believe Mr. Sutton created this poll based on those people who post to the forum... Is it supposed to be taken seriously? I'm not sure.

However, those listed seem to have some sort of common sense (if sometimes a little twisted sense of humor) that is not always displayed by some in elected office... but Im just guessing... just call me a Knuclehead, LOL

i would vote for anybody who knows how to balance books and not spend more than you take in.........that eliminates most of the town!

T'would be my honor to serve the good folk of C.B. in any capacity they sees fit for me ta serve. There's just too much ta be done here to be a bickerin and a feudin. We's in the middle of a recession and have to give this town and it's people all we got. We have the rare sitchyation here in that we have the opportunity to make our revenues from outsiders, rather than taxin us locals to death. We need to remember that this is a resort town where we can party and play with our outta town guests on the weekends and then wave 'em goodbye for the week knowin they just put money in the town coffers. We need pay parkin' for non residents, and the council needs to promote businesses and more events to bring in more outta towners, includin tax breaks for new businesses on The Boardwalk. The council and Mayor need to promote the sale of The Riverboat to someone who will make it an asset to this here town. I believe them there slot machines COULD happen there if the right people got involved! Then the rest of the town could feed off those slot players like vultures on road kill. We could also "rent" the names of stuff in town, like Town Hill could be "Shady Lane Seafood hill" or the boat ramp could be "Happy Clam boat ramp". Heck, that almost rhymes! You could even go national with the Viagra Pier (make up your own joke there!). Anyways, my point a bein that we gotta quit runnin this town like a charity and more like a business, with our customers bein the tourists. Well, there's my two cents worth. I'm sure IT will be taxed too!
