A bunch of teenagers are gathered at that corner tonight with flowers. They were very rude and yelled profanities. It looked as if they were crying and angry. I was wondering what happened there.

There was a really bad accident Saturday night where driver of a car crashed into a traffic light pole. I passed by there and there were a lot of emergency vehicles and that's when i saw the whole front of the vehicle wrapped around the pole. The driver of the car didn't make it.

I was a witness to this accident and was less than 5 yards aways when he hit the pole. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever witnessed. My heart goes out to the family and friends who knew this young man.

The boy that died in the crash was only a teenager and a friend of my sisters. She was at the light pole last night and was balling her eyes out. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

HOUSTON—Deputies said drugs may have played a role in a crash that killed a speeding driver Saturday night. It happened on Cypress Rosehill at Huffmeister in northwest Harris County.
Precinct 4 Deputies said around 10 p.m., a Mustang was speeding northbound on Cypress Rosehill when, for some unknown reason, he slammed into a red light pole on the corner of the intersection.
The crash nearly split the car in half. The driver, in his 20s, died on impact. The victim’s cousin arrived to the scene and told deputies his cousin may have been under the influence of drugs while at the wheel. Deputies said they will test for drugs during the autopsy.

I want to clarify why the children were at the pole. They organized a walk out of respect for their friend. They walked down Cypress Rosehill and gathered around the pole. The boys parents were also present and spoke to the crowd at one point during or after the walk. This was their only child, please keep them in your prayers.

Can someone reading this please post funeral arrangements when they are made? I knew this person, but do not know how to find out any information. Have searched, but no luck so far.

I am not in Connecticut, but Waller, Texas. Don't see where to change? Thanks to whoever gets the information.

You are correct that it was at Huffmeister.
There were no adults present when I passed by, I understand the grief the kids were feeling but that does not justify the rude behavior.

Prayers for the family. What a tragedy.
