The customer service is horrible. the owner goes by Rush, and seems like a nice guy. i ordered a special piece for my vehicle almost a month ago!!! and am still receiving the run around on when it is actually going to be ready to pick up. it was originally supposed to take 3 days at most and is now going on three weeks. 1st i order, then he(rush) says its going to take a week, then a week goes by and still no piece. i call up there the next available time which is a monday(not open on weekends) and he says its ready to pick up. i arrive and pick it up just to get home and find out its not the right one. i call and he says he doesnt know what i am talking about so i have to physically go up there to point out the mistake. he had given another customer my piece and i had received his. so he says he will call the guy so he can get the pieces back to who they belonged to. 4 days go by; nothing. then he calls back "yeah man, im so sorry, i can either order you a new one or i can refund your money. so i ask for a new one. he says ittl take 2 days and i can pick it up in the third. so here i am 4 days in this whole ordeal and i still have no piece, and he still has all my money. i am a very unhappy customer and do not AT ALL RECOMMEND YOU DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Take your money elsewhere, to a real professional and have them do whatever you need, not this shady hole in the wall!!!!

I'd run from this place as well. They come off somewhat friendly, then you place the order. I should have known better when they wanted half down upfront. They say it will take a day to install, took days and wasn't right. It took weeks to get everything fixed. I called almost daily waiting on stuff to come in. It was always Rush will have to get back to you, but Rush never called. It is really too bad since I like to support local business. In fairness, in the end, the result was good, however, I shouldn't have to chase down the communication and have to wonder if it will ever end up being right. Just glad its over with. I'd go somewhere else.

Holy Shit! What a mess mine turned out to be!

I went in for a quote at begnning of Feb 2012. A week later, Rush calls me and says he will offer me a great deal to do the things I want because Street Scenes Magazine is doing a spread on his shop and he wants to put my truck in the magazine spread. Sounds good, huh?!?

I dropped off my truck on Feb 15th 2012. I went in for surgery on the 16th so I told him that he could take his time because I was going to be home bound for at least a week. After two weeks, I start calling because he was going to drive my truck back over to my house and he never did. Recovering from surgery, my wife drives me back over to the shop (60 miles roundtrip) after another week and the job is wrong! I knew it would be based on the feeling I had since he wouldn't return my calls. I ordered fender flares, painted to match my truck. I got black fender flares (my truck is blue). His assistant said they gave my blue ones to someone else accidentally and would talk to Rush about it. Also, my window flares were not installed on my truck. Week goes by and nothing. Another week and nothing. I've called Rush's business and cell numerous times and no return call. No text's returned. I finally call from another phone number and he picks up...throws be a few lines of bullshit. Says my flares are at his other shop that only he can get into cause it houses his inventory. Says he is going in for surgery and will be out for a few weeks and asks if I can hold off until he is better. I give him a month...cause I'm a nice guy and want to let him heal. Numerous calls and texts...no answer! Finally I get him by using another phone (I guess he programmed my home and cell # into his phone so he knew who was calling him). Gives me some more bullshit stories. Promises me he will fix everything and to meet me at his shop on Sunday(in April 2012). He no shows me!!! Waited 1 1/2 hours and never showed up or returned calls. I get in touch with him next week and more bullshit stories...promises to make it right. Another month goes by. Schedules an appointment for me to meet him at 10am on a Saturday (June 2012!!!). Changes to noon at the last minute. I get my fender flares installed but he realizes that the window flares are incorrect. Promises me that he will have them Monday at 10am. I get there and he never shows. Receptionist says she has been gone for a week and has no idea about the situation. Leave pissed. I call him and he says come in next day at 10am...promises he will be there. Can you guess what happened??? No show!!! I see my window flares on his wall and call him to say I am taking them and leaving (last week of June 2012). 4 1/2 months and the job was not done correctly or completed!!! Don't let this guy fool you...he comes across as nice and you feel for him and his story but what a bad business owner! I have no idea how he is still in business! I am a small business owner and can not begin to think how I would still be in business if I ran it this way! Save yourself the time, hassle, money, heartache, misery and go elsewhere! Shame on you Rush!

Stay away. These stories are consistently the same....they promise, make up stories to delay, and don't complete the job. I'm 3 months into a simple HID and projector install. And what do you know...issue after issue. They wanted 100% up front and I knew I shouldn't have paid. I too wanted to support local business and am regretting it. I too agree that Rush puts himself out as a nice guy. He may be nice but neither he, his vendors, nor his workers can competently meet their commitments for which they have been paid.

My vehicle STILL isn't done. I don't have the projectors. I don't have HID's that match color. I have scheduled and they have stood me up. Delay and excuse after delay and excuse.

I'm taking him to small claims court to get my money back.

These guys know thier stuff...came in fix the problem i was having, with no fuss. Will definately be coming here again. Don't know why you would go anywhere else. For all the people who didn't like the service is retarded. I've been all over Houston looking for a customs shop. Who knew we had PRO's in our own backyard.

As a former employee, I can vouch for the shadiness of Rush and the operation he runs. He's a snake oil salesman. I've seen him talk circles around people and make promises he dosent intend to keep. Upon my departure from the shop, I was owed around 300 dollars for my final pay period. I contacted Rush, who told me to come back the next day at 10am to pick up the check. I arrived at 930am and waited til almost noon, with no sign of Rush. None of the other employees were helpful in fixing the issue. I came back in the shop the next day, and once again, no Rush! I had started a new job upon leaving 2920, and it happened to be less than 5 minutes from the shop. I stopped in one day maybe a week later when I saw his truck at the shop. He proceeded to tell me he had been trying to contact me repeatedly for a week to get me the money, however he conincedientally did not have a check book on him that day.(I am aware of the fact the company check book is kept under the showroom counter!) I can't understand how he is still in business after all this crap! Being an automotive enthusiast and a mobile electronics installer, I hate people like Rush, who give mechanics and technicians a bad name, and contribute to the common distrust of all small shops in the area.

I e never had a problem with this place they have actually been one the better shops in Tomball in my opinion. They have a small office area but really nice workshop and I have been there several times for audio and suspension components and they had me taken care of just as they said they would.

We had an aftermarket dvd player and stereo system installed in our mid-size SUV. With a few minor issues (which were resolved quickly), Rush and his crew had the systems installed for us within a day and they look and sound great. The price(s) he quoted us and what we paid, were the same. There were no hidden charges or surprises. Quality, honest work, for a fair price.

Rush did work! I've never been happier with service on my car. I've been to the shop once before and wasn't so sure after reading some reviews.. But I am very happy to say.. ALOT at this shop has changed from what I can see. The shop is bigger and way more organized.. For the crew size and shop size this store is always very busy.. It's not wonder why it takes them a little time. Rush for one is a really cool guy! He's always been willing to help and has even given me some really good deals (even some complementary labor) all in all I'm VERY SATISFIED with my system. It's sad to see some of these comments above. I wouldn't take people's word.. Check them out and give them a shot.. Your in good hands tomball.

This has to be the most ridiculous post I've seen. This is a shop review not a personal attack on RUSH who indeed owns the shop (which is no ones business) his grandmother whom I have met has nothing to do with his business other than support. Seems to me that jealousy controls alot of these posts.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK RUSH!
