JCPenny store at 290

So, today I went into the jcp 290 store in cypress, and was asked to leave by a store supervisor whos name is jane but she would not provide her last name, the reason I was asked to leave was only due to the fact that an employee who works there was married to my now partner and it made her uncomfortable (really), I moved to houston, tx because people were kinder, friendlier, however I cannot believe that a store would turn away an opportunity at sales due to an employee, whom is 45 years of ages not being capable of her x's girlfriend shopping, sounds incredibly petty, and imature, the store would actually risk the reputation on one person who does not have the best track record. Please advise me on what I should think and do in a situation such as this. More information the better.

Hi Just Curious!
You do not have to compromise where and when you shop because of some unrelated personal matter! The store manager should tell that employee to leave her personal issues at home. Write a very well thought out letter to corporate. You have the right to shop where you please!
