This was a sense less death....Police officers are suppose to arrest a person not kill them. Matt had a daughter and now this daughter will grow up with out her loving dad...cops today are gun happy..His parents are without a son as well...I will never have respect for the law again. Cops handled it all wrong endangered many lives.

I'm sorry that your sad. I'm sorry that his parents lost their son. But you have to face the facts. HE WAS A DRUG DEALER. DRUG DEALERS ARE NO BETTER THEN MURDERES SELLING DRUGS TO PEOPLE, DRUGS THAT CAN KILL THEM. HE RAMMED HIS CAR INTO THE POLICE. I BELIEVE THEY CALL THEY A CRIME. HE HAD HIS GIRLFRIEND AND DAUGHTER, WHO HE SUPPOSEDLY LOVED WITH ALL HIS HEART IN THE DANGER ZONE. Again, I'm sorry your sad, but one less drug dealer off the street. Mr. Romero would have endangered much more lives then the police did that day. Again, I'm sorry your sad but you need to face the facts.

I believe they did try to arrest him first. You are aware he hit the car his fiance was driving while trying to get away?

I don't think he had any respect for the law, either.

This guy was dealing kilos. He put his family in danger. Not only did his daughter ride next to a kilo of coke while his wife delivered it but he smashed into their car with his pecious daughter in it He could have got all of them shot. Thank goodness that didn't happen. Dying is part of the game he was playing and now hes just another example. Living high and shiny on the hog at the expense of others misery. How many lives was he ruining? We'll never know. His family should have stepped in. Its truly a tragedy but one that could have been avoided. Easy money aint so easy in the long run.

If the initial reports are correct, it sounds like Mr. Romero endangered the police officers. He made bad decisions. Bad things happened.

He brought his girlfriend and daughter to a drug sale and had the dope in the car with his daughter. What a coward. When confronted he rammed the car his daughter was in in an attempt to get away. The daughter is better off without him in her life - maybe now she has a chance. But then again, with a mother like that she will likely be selling drugs in 2025.

You didnt know Matthew did you? or you wouldnt be saying all this crap, of course selling drugs is wrong, and of course his family stepped in to try to help him, they are loving parents who worked for a living, who taught thier son how to work and how to make money the right way. Do you have children? How do you know your children wont come out doing something againist what his parents brought him to believe in hard work.. He loves his daughter his fiance. He was not thinking. But its not up to the law to kill him or anyone. Its up to God to not the law. He could have been arrested gone to jail and maybe learned the hard way, not die. The pain the mother and father are going threw is hell. The baby girl heart is broken crys for her daddy every day and asks why the cops had to kill him. So you dont know the whole story. Lots of drug dealers out there they dont get three shots to the head do they? cops in NM are killers they are there to arrest and put in jail not kill ....They ruined a family forever.

Matthew Romero was a good son, good to his mother he loved her. He loved his baby girl. His mother's heart is broken. The baby wants her daddy back. At least if he was in jail she could go visit him, now she has to go to his grave to visit her daddy..For what? Yes selling drugs is a crime, but putting them in jail to pay for thier punishment is better them killing him dead..Matthew was brought up with a loving family , who loved him,.....He was a good son. Maybe something went wrong and he decided to sell drugs who knows what happened but he was not raised this way..We all love and miss him more then you people can ever imagine..who are you all to judge? Its up to God to judge not you!!!

I hope your children grow up to sell drugs or worse for talking about someone you knew nothing about. He was brought up with great parents who worked for a living who taught him the meaning of hard work, very religious people in the community was his family. So you dont judge , only you can judge if it happens to you..He was loving dad and son,......what he did was wrong but you dont kill someone for breaking the law you put them in jail, not murder them cold.. this little girl will not be okay with her daddy, they had a very close bond, since she was born. So when it happens to you then speak up..God is only one to judge not you nor cops no one.

SORRY MELANIE you dont understand the facts are the cops killed him like an animal, he was not an animal, they could have put him in jail to learn not to sell drugs. They didnt have to kill the poor kid. Least his family could have gone to visit him in jail..he was taught to work and he worked since he was 15 years old, his mother taught him to work . His family is involved with the church in his community so you dont know nothing about him or his family or his up bringing do you? Yes he was selling drugs but his family didnt raise him to do this..do you have children? what if this happened to your children then you wouldnt be judging would you? His family is in pain from losing their son this way? How would you like to lose someone like this? God is the one to judge not you!

He loved his family, his daughter and his finance were his life, his parents too. He was a loving person a giving person. He never murdered a soul. How many drug dealers are out there? I'm sorry for their pain, but that pain was created by Matt, his decisions and actions. No body had him their that night selling drugs but him. They attempted to arrest him, he fled, thus causing them to use deadly force. I knew Matt, nice boy, but none the less he was a drug dealer. His mother knew way back when it was just pot he was dealing. Everyone turned a blind eye to his actions. When a young boy has so many things and not a real job nor education then what does that equate to...drug dealing. So even if his parents didn't know, which they did how can't you see it, I did. This mi Hito attitude needs to be trashed already. He is the one who was responsible for ALL that happened to him. If he wasn't dealing drugs he wouldn't have been there to get shot...

Don't know about anyone else, but I would rather die than go to the State Pen. Oh yeah, that is why I live within the law and make an honest living.

All that money does you no good when you are in the Pen or dead.

And by the way, if the girlfriend had the drugs and the little girl, they put that little girl in a lot more than the danger of the cops. Big time dealers are ruthless and could have killed her or the child over that deal.

Exactly. And do you really believe this was the first time she ever made a drop? Or that she had no idea what her husband was doing to earn that much money? Or that she didn't know about drugs being kept in her home?

Regardless of her scholastic achievements, she's still a stupid trashy skank for exposing her daughter to that sh*t.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Pisces

Someone is in a very boisterous mood today, and you may want to make yourself scarce after a short spell in their company. Their idea of a joke may be your idea of extreme rudeness, or they could take pleasure in being argumentative just for the sake of it. Don't let this person wind you up or you'll go off pop through sheer tension.
