It looks like the development of the Mckay Tract had already started before it was approved. A possible homeless camp.

Instead of "remains," I prefer to call them "leftovers."

I thought the exact same thing. I went to school and on backpacking trips with her and still pray that one day they will find her and bring some much-needed closure to the case

The level of humor here is depressing. I was not aware that dumb 15 yr old juveniles read the paper.
Why are "homeless encampments" being tolerated in Cutten ? Run them out.

Creepy, "Liberty Lady" I was thinking of Karen Mitchell too, wasn't saying it was her, just that she crossed my mind...

My first thought was of Karen also. I wish we could find her. I wish there was something we could do.

It wasn't that long ago that there were some homeless removed from that area, along with a site that was believe to be once a homeless encampment. It isn't that far fetched that this might of been a homeless individual, or anyone else that has been missing for a long time. Either way, let's hope it is solved and some one's heart is put at ease.

Does every one forget that the people who founded this town were homeless when they got here? Were you raised to be a jerk, or is it genetic?

I also thought about Karen Mitchell when I read the story last night. The T/S needs to add a map to the story to show where the remains were found.

To all of you lame ass idiots making jokes about the homeless, I pray to God you never reach that point. But then again, maybe if you did, you would be a little more compassionate. Sure am glad I don't know you.

I wonder if it's one of our MANY missing young people, like Karen Mitchell, Chick White, Jade Wilmer, or Curtis Huntzinger, or if it's some poor soul we didn't even know had vanished. Homeless, hitchiker, walking home...none of that matters. Nobody deserves to die lost out there somewhere, whether via foul play, sucide, or accident.

Type "Redwood Fields, Cutten" into Google Maps and it should take you right to it. Redwood Fields are the the baseball fields just north of Winship Jr. High. The remains were found in the wooded area behind the outfield. I hope thay can sucessfully identify the remains so that someone's worries can finally be put to rest.
