I went today with my family to Fort Salonga Apple Farm and was very disappointed. First of all the price was ridiculous and the tree's were empty. We had 2 bags that cost me $30 and I had a hard time filling the bag up. The apples were dirty and mostly damaged. A really disappointing apple farm.

Last year we went to cutchongue and were very happy and satisified with our experience. We wanted to save some gas this year and made a huge mistake. Do yourself a favor dont make the same mistake we made.

Lewin Farms is very good but soooo crowded on the week-ends, as is almost everything on Sound Ave.
Apple picking on FreshPonad Ave. is good too, but again, plan on a crowd. Please don't make a mess. No littering, guys.

Wickham's Farm in Cutchogue is a great place for Apple picking. Good variety, and they have a well stocked farm stand as well. Their apple cider doughnuts are the best.
They are closed on Sunday's.
