No one cares what you think anyway. You're from Canada. Go watch some hockey and suck down beer.

Do you pick the largest one?
I like to go for a mid size round one... it has to have a nice shape so it can sit on my front porch!

Hey Mommaroo how are you? I've never been apple picking on LI but I hear it is more the thing in Virginia. They even have Apple Blossom festivals down there. Not to mention they make a mean cider!

Actually, pumpkin patches are a bigger thing where I am in VA. As a former resident of Hunterdon County, NJ, though, I can say I always loved apple picking on my parents' farm. My sister and I used to climb the trees and toss the apples down to someone on the ground and they'd bag them. Dad (a teacher) brought bags full to his school in Piscataway to sell. We had a lot of varieties you don't find in the store: Jonathan, Northern Spy, Winesap. I miss those days!

hey to you, too, elphaba! i'm doing well, how 'bout you? i thought apple picking was more upstate ny...have to agree with the poster that said it sounded expensive...especially when you factor in the long drive to get there. fresh cider is the best, though!

Good !! Maybe i'll take a plane down yonder to pick just but one Pumpkin... I remember one year we had an unusually warm fall, and due to the west facing position of the house which I was living in at the time, my Pumpkin which I picked never got to see it's favorite day... All it was was Pumpkin Pie without the crust...

Daily Horoscope for November 25

Libra

The Moon blends well with Mercury, letting your intuition lead you to success. Go with a hunch today and see where it leads you; this is one of those times when your analytical mind will only get in the way. It may be a little harder to express yourself, but there's something to be said about using fewer words to convey your meaning.
