Why do many people involved in these types of accidents, blame dear. It's always, "I swevered to avoid hitting a dear". How about driver responsibility?
Hey dad, teenagers do drink and drive very fast, and the results are all to common, injured or killed...

p.s. What happened to parent responsibility too?

So there was actually a deer, and even though she was speeding do you really thinks it's the right thing to do to make fun of a girl who has serious injuries (which I don't feel the need to disclose because that's personal) and also has to know that she caused various injuries to her friends? Seems unnecessary and juvenile to me.

So now one of the fathers, who wasn't at the scene, questions the officer and other people who were. Typical. Sounds like he is trying to put the blame somewhere else. Why wasn't she arrested or charged with DWI? Town Cops.

The Southold Town Police get to put up with wonderful kids and parents, like the above, all the time.

The overprivileged can never be at fault as long as daddy's connectins can obfuscate the truth.

STP, rearing your kids because you can't be bothered.

I think it is very immature that idiots like you you people can make fun of a girl and her lifeslye wether it be rich or poor. I don't know how old any of you are but you sound like a bunch of 5 year olds I am 21 and can say I have more sense than all of you. I have one question. Were any of you there friday night? Well I was. The crash happend just down the road from my house and I was one of the first firefighters on scene. I don't care who you are or what you did. What is most important to me are the lives of those who I volonteer to help. For Sam in Cutchouge bravo to you, you have good sense. I have just found out that the driver had past away last night around 10pm. To the parents of her I am sorry for your loss and I wish the best to all who were in the crash and thier families and may they all get well soon.

To all you holier than thou arseholes that can sympathize with drunken murderers wanna-bes: wait till someone you know gets run over. Than I would love for you to post online what a wanderful person that driver was. Or how that drunken depraved murderer is only a child and should just be let off with a slap on the wrist.Look in the mirror, I think the word: IMBECILE is glowing on your forehead.
You say wait till someone you dies from a drunk drive well my cousin was killed by one in 2003 one week before his 21st birthday. I know what it is like to see a family member covered by a sheet on the side of the road.

You said: PS. What happened to parent responsibility?"
ADVERTISING.
The toob, and other media, are bombarded with such things a limousines for graduation, special clothes for almost any occasion involving teen women, and of course the "rite of passage", the new car.
Jeesh. And we wonder why americans are viewed as being nothing more than pampared and spoiled brats. And another thing, I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that the same parents will argue with you to the death that that their darlings are "responsible" and have a head on their shoulders. If this is an example I too can see why americans think that they are special and whatever they do or say makes it O.K.
Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt in this but I hope it opens their eyes to the dangers of irresponsible driving.

PAUL. I have to correct myself here as I read that the driver died. Now that's too bad but I still hold that she was not a resposible driver. I'm sure they teach driver's ed there and that she just ignored her teachings, and look what it got her.
Driving an automobile is a privilege and not a right and the young woman abused her privilege. And paid an awful price by doing so.

I know what she did was wrong but saying we should let her die like some have said is wrong. She made a mistake that could have cost many others thier lives and i wish she did not have to ay with hers. As a firefighter i see it a lot from teens to all ages beyond. People of all ages drive drunk and kill people and themselves.

Marley Blangiardo is in VERY rough shape with internal injuries to her spleen and other organs as of 2:30 Pm April 20.
At this time, she needs prayers, as do the other teenagers involved.
I advise all persons to review their own lives and past actions before they criticize.

Can you say karma?

Enough is enough, all these teenage drunk drivers have to be punished. Last summer a good friend of mine was severely injured and will suffer from life long disabilities due to a 16 year old drunk driver here in West Islip. Its time to crack down; drunk drivers who maim should be charged with attempted murder and drunk drivers who kill should be charged with Second Degree Murder.

Let's not judge. There may have been a deer (very common there) and she may not have been under the influence. Didn't they just drop the charges in that accident case in Medford? The cops said he was drunk but tests came back and proved otherwise. No matter what it is a tragedy. Lets just pray these kids come out of this OK

Now, most of us know that Marley isn't the safest of drivers and she tends to pack people into her car, secondly was there a legit report that she was drunk, BAC content or something? Because if there was 'evidence' of alcohol couldn't that just mean a bottle or maybe the passengers were tipsy. Honestly all the times I've ever driven with Marley she has NEVER been intoxicated with anything. And for all of you who seem to have a problem with her and think that she deserves this, you seriously need to reconsider yourselves and basically understand that what you've said is cold and heartless. As a friend of Marley's I'm obviously going to stand up for her, but come on, the girl is kindhearted and wouldn't hurt a fly if it came down to anything. And by the way, shes not dead, I think thats what someone in one of the previous posts stated, but I'm not sure, as I've heard she's well alive, her brains still swollen and shes in bad condition but shes breathing.

seriously. everyone that wants to sit here and bash her, are some of the most heartless people to walk this earth. all of you are going to sit here and judge someone you dont even know. saying someone should be dead. well maybe you should be. it's not right to tell someone that they should die because of this. maybe if you actually knew her, like i dont know seen her in person. went to school with her. you would be changing your comments. i've known her since i was four. and as long as i have been in school with her. she is a good hearted person. and this isn't her. people have accidents. hence the word car "accident". so to everyone that spends their time bashing a seriously hurt girl, and saying that she should be dead or a worthless cripple. you all some of the most screwed up people to walk this earth. so seriously to anyone that is going to sit back and insult someone who made a mistake. like WE ALL DO. seriously should just go rott. it would do you some good.
leave her alone.
seriously. your comments are completely worthless and not needed right now. if ever. seriously screw yourself all of you.

how about you all find god and pray for her and everyone hurt, instead of just being some of the shittiest people alive.
