Do you work? I see you are always on Topix or at least you are the most frequent user.
It would seem that with a job and your music stuff you would not have that much time to be on here.
Are you a victim of Obamanomics?

Yes, "Truth", I work, and in the same line I have for twenty years now, though I have to admit I did better in the Bush and Clinton years than I have with Obama, where I've seen *two* employers go under so far!

So, to be honest, I have seen my share of "victims" and this is why I finally have begun to give up on supporting Obama and his ilk... and that brings me to my question to you, below, "Truth".

As for internet access, "Truth", I find the current ubiquity of access fascinating. I have a laptop and can do this almost anywhere, WiFi being what it is these days, not to mention this little thing I got from Cricket I can plug in to connect me to the internet even if I'm at Hogbottom, Doo-Nanny, hunting, fishing or even on a road trip.

Yes, modern times are grand... this wasn't possible for me even four years ago, before I become sold of the laptop and mobile phones.

For example, right now I'm in the Krystal in Phenix City having a coffee and in an hour I expect to be on Broadway in Downtown Columbus... since you're so interested in my life feel free to come out and meet me, "Truth"... but of course that would mean you wouldn't be able to hide behind the fake names as well, so I reckon I won't be seeing you?

Speaking of Obama, and also his evil twin Romney, looks like I've finally made my choice there for November, such as it is:

Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party, so far has some pretty good points. Seems to me that at the least Gary Johnson is an alternative to the less than thrilling Obama/Romney situation.

http://youtu.be/2X3QRSIXgns

"...Two-term Governor, Gary Johnson, says both parties are indistinguishable from one another. Both are keeping America broke. Both are keeping America at war. Both have trampled on the Constitution. And both are stooges to the same big money players that never change behind the scenes. It's time to put our differences and our parties aside and come together as a nation for the good of all. We The People are ready to LIVE FREE." -Gary Johnson 2012

So, since we have such different perspectives of this Presidential race, "Truth", my question for you is what's your take on Gary Johnson?

I will give Romney my vote. I cannot see very many parallels between him and Obama. Obama is a communist wannabe. I would vote democrat if there was a true democrat running, like I said, Obama is a communist.

Enjoy yourself tonight. I did go to several of the concerts on Broad with my girlfriend again this year. Never once saw you there. Some of the bands were ok but most played to same old tired music.
I have spoken to you before a year or so ago outside at the Coffee shop but you were not very happy about something. I think you can be moody from that experience and what I see on here.

Glad you are working and hope things will improve for everyone soon.

One more thing, everyone who posts is not the same poster, I can verify that there are 4 more people than myself I know who post here unregistered.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Have you though about maybe creating a blog for all your "happenings".
You sorta use Topix as a blog now and everyone I know and everyone I see on here finds it annoying.
I am surprised you do not have one as much as you like to post here.
I think you would get a bigger audience because from what I can tell there is probably only 20 local users of Topix max and most could care less about the stuff you post.

I am not trying to be mean, just trying to help you get your message out more effectively, Topix is not very effective for what you do.

https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin...

Give it a shot, I think you might be surprised at how much better it will be received than on Topix.

Sorry that I can't remember who you might be but I have met literally thousands of people on that block on Broadway over the last twenty years, and it appears we didn't really get that properly introduced... did we?

Question evaded

Notice how he didn't answer your question but intentionally chose to evade it. He likes Topix because he is a born PARTY CRASHER, music venue stage HIJACKER. If he had his own blog he couldn't piss down people's back and tell them it is raining. His passive aggressive compulsion couldn't get satisfied. A person accessing his blog would be making a personal choice. He prefers to force himself on people.

What question do you claim I didn't answer, my anonymous little obsesso?

Okay, this is the question that I supposedly "evaded" I reckon... as if there's some sort of "time limit" or requirement that post be replied to here.

Good ideas, yes, "Truth", but you may not realize that I've been involved with the internet almost from the start and Googling the name "Will Dockery" (in quotes gives the search better focus) you can see all sorts of sites I've been involved with since the 1990s.

I'll have a look at the one you suggest, since I'm always interested in new developments, the most notable in recent years being MySpace, Reverb Nation and of course Facebook.

But be aware that I enjoy posting here on the local Topix.com pages, and am unlikely to stop posting here either way. I see this as the modern version of the virtual "town square" or similar meetingplaces man has had throughout history, with all the riff-raff that comes with such a boisterous place, the only thing I don't like about it is the lack of participants.

My main group for this type posting has been, for almost twenty years now, the Google/Usenet Poetry Newsgroups, which has seen many interesting conversations over the years, and all archived, as these we post here are:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.arts.poetr...

Which, just for the record is not strictly limited to just "poetry" discussion, but open to any and all topics.

I am surprised that as much info about the area's entertainment venues that Will has and is privy to, that he doesn't have a personal blog to talk about it. Some peoples political blogs I visit and read have 100,000+ followers.

No, that's just another lying misrepresentation of what I do... the "Truth" person asked me a question and I answered it. Read it slowly and you'll see that you either have a reading comprehension problem, or a bitter agenda that forces you to post these negative, obsessive lies about me... or both:

Thanks, Jim... you might have missed my response on this subject, so far, although I think a more up-to-date, "modern" blog might be interesting:
