Probably the last of their contract and they too will fall to the side as other tenants who no longer "fit " in the "new" Fairgrounds.

An oversite is a big issue when it comes to the safety of paying customers. One oversite could of lead to an accident. Thank goodness it was corrected and lets hope any findings this time is taken care of before the grand opening.

It's no surprise to me that Big Splash, and the corrupt relationship the Tulsa County Fair Board has with the Murphy's, are still in business. Especially after the Murphy's admitted knowledge of faulty equipment which caused one of their water rides to break.

Yet Bell's was a 50+ year tennant, paid the most rent and fees, was still a viable business, and was kicked to the curb like a red headed stepchild...all for a parking lot. Obsurd!

With Karen Keith as the new County Commissioner, I hope she cleans house. But for me, the damage has already been done. I've boycotted the Fair & Expo Square for life. I'll gladly spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

I'd have to say this place was way more fun as a kid. As an adult I look out into the sea of litte kids and wonder how much pee is in the pool! lol

The only one Karen Keith will clean out are the only who do pay their taxes so to speak ( you know the one most people do not hear about;>) But i was sad for tulsa to lose bells, the only place where the tulsa folks could buy a summer pass and lose their kids all day and most of the night two or three times a week,

I am boycotting Big Splash this year.
I've held summer passes the last few years, but after the debacle played out last summer coupled with DISHONESTY, I will spend hot summer days in a pool elsewhere. No to mention BS hiked up their pass prices...passing along the inspection setbacks on to their customers. Nice.

I have a feeling that is not going to happen. BigSplash is in bed with Expo, they are guarenteed contracts, dont have to pay bills, and even kick backs unfortunatly. I know our whole neighborhood is boycotting Big Splash, just for the immoral and unethical practices alone.

I completely agree.

And as for the ugly paint job...you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

The fraudlulent business continues to operate dangerous rides while not paying property taxes while being ecouraged and protected by Krappy Taylor. Why anyone supports this place is a mystery.

well, i'd rather spend my money on a season pass for frontier city and white water bay in okc. wwb has much better facilities than bs,(look, the initials of big splash says it all, bs). okc is not too far away to spend a weekend with your kids. better facilities, more things to do. why support a business that practices business like bs does?

Only time I go to the fairgrounds now is when something is FREE, and then I still refuse to spend a dime on drinks or food. Fairboard will never receive a dime from me, and God forbid the murphys from ever getting a dime of mine. As far as I am concerned, Murphys are bigger crooks than creek county is
