Holstein, Iowa, Celebrates 125 Years

Settlers who came from Schleswig-Holstein, Germany 125 years ago decided to call their new home in Iowa "Holstein". And in celebration of 125 years, the town held a weekend full of activities. via KPTH Sioux City

Perhaps the people don't come off as stuck up to to you, because you have lived in Holstein all of your life?
