Wow you people will bitch about anything. I know for a fact they wanted to play another team from Pa and we were the ones that was selected. Get over it. Im proud to be a bison football fan, and I dont care of anyone hates me for it. I will support the band or the football team any damn day.

They would be playing lots of teams from PA if Janocko hadn't pulled the team out of D9

Not enough teams in this Mountain League, what a joke. Some schools are playing each other twice.

Get used to Professional High School Football League being part of Clearfield's culture.

We dodged the Sandusky scandal successfully, Sheetz is putting the finishing touches on their exclusive mobile store trailer. Don't get on here and cry about the 12.00 beers, either. Sheetz has every right to charge whatever they see fit.(**see fair threads)

Of course, our cheerleaders now have outfits that makes Hooters girls look like nuns so I doubt you'll even remember the beer prices by the 2nd quarter.

Just a friendly reminder that no motorhomes will be allowed on school property until 5:00pm on Tuesdays. For now, all motorhomes MUST be self-sustainable until water and sewer hookups are completed in 2013. At game time, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased at the Sheetz trailer.

Thank you and god bless Tim Janocko, the Professional High School Football League and Ray Gricar's dead body.

Maybe to some grads it is in Canada. To answer another question no we didnt pay for there trip and we didnt pay for them to stay over night cause they didnt stay over night. Its only 4 1/2 hours to there school. I think they showed a great deal of respect and we showed them that same respect back.

Also I forgot one thing here is what the coach said about our community and team.

"We know that football is a religion in Pennsylvania, and we want to come and play in the church and play in front of a big crowd and let our guys experience what it means to play big-time football," St. Joan of Arc head coach Tom Pianta said. "You guys treat football the way we treat hockey."We're honored. It's a beautiful town and a great crowd. We loved coming down to this part of the state. It was a much better experience than years past. We're happy with our boys' effort. Clearfield is a real good team, and I think Coach (Janocko) should be very proud of his team. I think they'll have a great season."
Normally a four-and-a-half hour trip, the Angels were on the bus for nearly seven hours and had very little time to ready themselves before kickoff."We got stuck at the border for two hours," Pianta said. "We were just in time to have a quick team dinner and get a quick warmup, and we played.
"This game is an exhibition games for us, but we take it quite seriously. We know this means something to Clearfield. Our full team wasn't here tonight, but the guys that did manage to make the trip put up a good effort against a very good team."St. Joan's has been to its region's semifinals each of the last two seasons and made the finals the two seasons before that.
"We consider ourselves to be one of the better teams in our region," Pianta said.
The Angels also said they would consider a return trip to the Bison Sports Complex if Clearfield had an opening in a future season.

Thank you for the answer...I didnt imply that it was true hence why Iasked for an answer...so please hold off on the snarky attitude...but I do appreciate the answer...
I have little faith in anything that goes on in that school..
I have very little respect for most of the coached so it was nice to see a school from Canada come in and enjoy our school

I heard about this the other day.... I think it's kind of cool that somewhere from out of the "normal area" wanted to come play us! Why not, right?!

I'm not sure why it's a mockery of our sport system by any means.

Maybe Clearfield wouldn't be such a shit town if people learned to enjoy more and complain less. Any other area would be honored to host an 'out of country team".....

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
