Md lady, sorry to hear about your family member but he was DMI (dead man incorp. ) the guy killed 2 weeks late was a cript. they knew the risks involved. Very sorry he passed away, but we as a community do not need gangs here and if you knew he was involved you should have spoken up because it was right to do such.

Go to the next community association meeting if all want to voice your concerns. The BCPD comissioner will be there.

It is sad.
Mistakes in life can be temporary and resolvable but a bullet is permanent and there are no take backs.

We are all born unto this world with choices. Sometimes the error of our ways never get resolved until it's too late.
I hope not just for the sake of this community but for you and your family as well that the killer is caught before he/she does it again.

It is very sad. Children do not deserve their father being murdered. Thats why, everyone in curtis bay needs to stand up and take our streets back. Dave's death was unfortunate and not fair for the family. What Dave was involved in had a certain risk to his life and that is all I wanted to point out in previous emails. The murderer won't be caught unless the community who witnessed the murder talks instead of hiding. The gangs will continue to have our streets unless people stand up to them. The ones who don't say a word should be ashamed and are cowards. The people who live on Hazel St. who knows who deals in the park and knows and saw what happened should open their mouth. Go to southern district and speak with someone. For the family, demand that the police work hard to solve the case. I know that the manpower will not be given because it is not the inner harbor or some other high rent district. Demand it. Without a strong community, and a community who will be outrage then the same will occur. Show the outrage to our community leaders and demand what you want. Not ask, we do pay their salaries.

Its been over 1 1/2years since my son was taken away from me. Murdered in your part of town. As i sit and read over the news letter of that fatal month I'm seeing coments of how that nite, sept. 4th, 2009 had helped you get help with the crime in your area. I see where people are talking about the rights that can be done. But what I have not seen is anyone standing up and speaking out. We all know the reasons why we don't in the city of baltimore. But if your going to write about doing the right things then do them. Don't talk about be about.

It has taken me this long to read some of the things writen about my sons murder on sept.4th,2009.Some was sad and much was mind boggling. To the curtisbay01 do you even know how you sound? Does it matter what kind of life some one lives when someone else goes against god's will not to murder one another and kills anyway? Even if what you say is true, have you ever been a young man in a differnt scary situation and did what you had to just so you can make it out alive or aleast with some dignity? You've made comments of thing you truly know nothing about. When he was DMI he was 15 and away from home.At the time of his murder he was 23 and tring to put his life back togather.Have you ever done something that could effect the rest of your life but you woke up and tried your best to walk a differnt path just to have others look at you only for your past mistakes? I am not saying my son was the golden child but he was mine.Because of the on going actions be taken on this case there are things i would like to say but will not. What i will say is while your hiding behind these computers the area around you is dying.the next person to get into a radom argument on a bus stop and trys to stand up for them seleves but gets beat down or worst murdered maybe one of your family members or maybe even you. What would you expect from the people that live there? Are you out there tring to save one young man at a time? I am sure that some of them around there are in situations they were force into for what ever reason and just need people to care and show them another way.Get one at a time off your street. anything but sitting here judgeing the ones you never reach out to help one way or another!

Hell no, curtis bay is infested with drugs and section 8 parasites.always check on the availability of section 8 homes before you move. the more section 8 the bigger the ghetto. if you don`t want to live around drugs, thugs and bugs, check out hanover pa. it`s clean and the people don`t have a culture of filth and entitlement.
