Near the Stevens Creek and De Anza Blvd a police helicopter has been circling with announcement. Can't make out the announcement. Anyone know what going on?

I could only make out that they are looking for someone in a plaid? jacket with a hat.

They are looking for a elderly man, maybe disoriented, missed since 4pm. The man doesn't speak english.

We couldn't understand what was being announced either. Cupertino should use their alert system.

Helicopter buzzing in circles around 280-Foothill-Stevens Creek......seems like 4-5 times a year these days....anyone aware of the news this time?

Not sure either. Drove over to the area. About 10 police cars dotting the area.

I believe the helicopter said something to the effect of searching for a 79 year old man with a cane. If found please call nine-one-one. I really wish they would post on Facebook or use the emergency texting to people's phones so that we wouldn't be alarmed. The helicopter alert had me locking all my windows and doors thinking a more intense criminal situation was happening. I would go out and look for a lost elderly person in my neighborhood if the information were more clear.
