Teen in-line skating hit and killed in Des Moines

A 17-year-old boy is dead after he was hit by a car while in-line skating in Des Moines.

He was out with his friend, that's what he was doing skating at 2am. Even though I am over 18 I've gone out skating before at midnight or 2am or even 4am. Other than his being a minor I don't see anything unusual about someone skating at 2am.

Point is, unless working the night shift, most normal people are sleeping at 2 a.m. Just thought I'd tell you so now you know.
