Only one seeks open Norwalk council seat

“It's just a shame we have to go through the time and expense of a special election when we only have one person running.”

After a citizen-signed petition forced the Norwalk City Council to hold a special election for the open council seat, only one person submitted papers seeking the job. via Des Moines Register

Yes it is sad that it is an expense to vote for a person that doesnt pay city taxes because he lives at home with parents. We need more people to get involved and take out the credit-card- spenders in our government.
