Dont get married, best advise I can give you, cause no one will ever make you happy..
Ask yourself why did you, what did you think you accomplished by being a self ordained grammer police. If thats what important in your life, im sorry but that is a empty way to live, lighten up, be thankful you know proper grammer, but by all means dont miss out on a great life with what you think amounts to what is important in life. Being able to communicate is all that matters in the field of language
Seriously, like posting on a message board is a reflection on life's priorities? I'm guessing it's simply a nicer way of stating that one who is too stupid to know the difference between ‘there’ and ‘their’ should not be criticizing education. I doubt such an educated woman needs life advice from someone who doesn't even know how to spell grammar.

Maybe the answer is to privatize Fluvanna schools. I have no doubt any private company could operate the schools at half the current cost and still turn a tidy profit!

How about school choice vouchers? Give us each $5,000 and we will send our kids to private school.

Where will you come up with the other $10000 it will take to send your single child to private school for one year?
Afterall, times are tight and the citizens of Fluvanna can't afford even $5 more per month in property taxes.
Reputable private schools aren't cheap.

Send them little rats to me, Big Tony, founder and head guy here at Big Tony's School of Learnin' Stuff!

For only $49.95 a day, your kid will learn numbers, intimidating the other guy in negotiation, firearm safty, the geography of defending your territory, the trade of cement mixing, and much more!

Everyone who disagrees with you is not a troll. Name calling is usually the last option for those without a valid argument .

Outright lies are not the same as disagreement. Anyway, I am not name-calling. Do you know what an internet troll is? It is a person who enters a discussion thread and posts complete lies or other inflammatory statements just to cause an uproar. They are usually people who have no connection to the conversation, they just get their jollies by getting people riled up. I usually just ignore them, but since this article affects me personally as an employee of FCPS I felt compelled to respond. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that first guy said is completely untrue. As for the second guy, is not referring to an entire school system of teachers as "worthless" considered name-calling in your book?

I post about a lot of issues, the goal being to just state my thoughts on the subject. Whether or not someone gets their dander up is out of my control. Frankly I really don't care. I don't consider myself a troll but each to his/her own.

Not many employers cover the entire cost of insurance. We should NOT cover the teacher's portion of having insurance for themselves and their families in Fluvanna. That is ridiculous.
