Take some of the tax money that is collected and provide for some type of service for cleaning up trash, provide trash cans and hire someone to cut grass at least.

You need to clean up Downtown. I drive through their to and from work, and can not beleive with the history of Columbia that the State or at least the County does not take more pride in this Historic town. My Greatgrandfather Farmed in the area in the 1800's. His brother was parolled from the Confederate army their. If we our not going to care for the Buildings downtown, then take them down. Lets show we care about something.

What happened to the $700,000.00 grant that was received about 10 years ago?
