The percussion teacher fell as many as 30', on to the pavement, at after school practice today. He was flown to MCV. What is his prognosis? Please include this beloved teacher in your prayers.

From a Facebook posting:
The real story from Neil Landini's wife, Melissa:
He broke his right femur (thigh bone), the bottom half split down the middle.
How it was fixed: 2 screws at the base of the femur under the kneecap
1 metal rod in between the screws the full length of the femur
He broke his right elbow.
How it was fixed: a metal plate across all the bits of bone and sewn up
He broke his left humerus just below the shoulder and just above the elbow - clean breaks.
He broke his left elbow. The ball of the joint was shattered.
How it was fixed: extensive surgery. I don't know the details of what was done yet. This surgery was yesterday (Monday), and I have yet to speak to the surgeon.
He does have a slight concussion but has not been affected by it. The gash in the middle of his forehead is healing nicely with 10 sutures.
Thank you to all for your continuing support, generosity, and general outreach to Neil and all of us.
