this is unbelievable. i have gone to the house for a trip my church has done. you can't even beging to understand waht the people in the house go through. they don't have anyone else but eachother, they need that house, they like that house. they are all nice people in there, taking this house away from them is not right. “I have profound respect for the work of the House of Compassion. Many people suffering from AIDS or HIV struggle with housing and medical treatment. This organization not only helps them with their physical needs, it gives them a supportive home environment filled with people who understand what they’re going through,” we the people need to help raise money to keep this house open for the people living in it and for the many others who will need it in the future.

the woman at the House of compassion was abusing the people there. She is stealing their money. That is why they lost the money. doesn't anybody realize that HUD and ri housing don't just pull funding away without a good reason? I have a friend who lived there. they are keeping her quiet. it is sad how the people of cumberland are letting this crazy woman manipulate them. she should be investigated even deeper.

The House of Compassion is an amazing place that offers wonderful services to an extremely marginalized population. To go there and meet the people, both clients and staff, an honest person would see a miracle of God.

i have been a volunteer at the house and i know everything has been done above board or they would have closed the house to the lady from cranston if you felt so strongly put your name to your statement and prove your facts. I know that the woman who runs the house was the last person to get paid and her family put thousands of dollars into the house. The house always had an account and past yearly survey. We need more saints like them Take note you are the only one with a negative opinion

You need to investigate and learn the facts before you cast wild accusations and make unfounded, schizophrenic statements such as yours'. There alot of very effective, therapeutic work at the House of Compassion. It is true that their administrative process appears a bit "loose" through the untrained eye. You must understand the realities of operating such an organization.Priority is on the residents' well being. Due to budget cuts, they are severely under-staffed. If you have legitimate concerns and productive suggestions, you may wish to volunteer their or donate funds.
