groomer you are ....misclassifying an employee as a 1099 worker without any injury protections from your employer and tax consequences you will get at year-end. Misclassified employees are employees who are called self employed to avoid payroll taxes paid by the employer . In some cases , it's deliberate , in others it's due to lack of knowledge .
This to educate , employees so that you don't get into trouble with the IRS and the State .
I am a business owner who hires legally by issuing a W-4 and an I-9 on hire date. I use a payroll company to do my payroll .
these shops need to be reported to the IRS
