i think they look like whores and for high schoolers theyre pretty good. they had a girl, miranda, that i absolutly hated.. she ruined the team for me.. but the other girls are ok. they look skanky, but theyre good. if the shorts were a bit longer it'd be all good. their shirts aren't that bad.
glad to know she ruined it for you!... btw she wasn.t on the team last year lol get a life!

you can not judge the dance team by one girl who was kicked off anyway..she didnt deserve to be on that team and she was removed..now every girl that is on that team deserves to be on it.they are all really great girls and they dont deserve to be called skanky and wh***s
she was NOT kicked off. Her mom made her quit and she did deserve to be on the team because she tried out and the judges put her on it. its sad that people think they know everything.

No, I'm just not sure if I hang out with her or are around her on a daily basis, and if she hates me so bad, I would rather not be a part of her life, or her of mine. I'm the type of person who likes to know if people hate/dislike me, but it doesn't affect how I see myself. I just try to stay away from them if their opinions of me are negative.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the dance team should not wear such revealing costumes? They are really good, just wish they would wear more clothes.

I totally agree with you Coco!!!! I don't think they should have to dress "LIKE THAT" just to dance. They are really good at dancing... so why must they make themselves look cheap??? I believe the school board needs to put some major limits on what they wear. Ive also heard alot of other parents... making the same comments. They are embarrassed having them revealing so much, while representing our schools!! I'm glad my daughter isn't on the dance team... because I would not want her out there showing everything. I hope they will tone it down, so everyone will just be able to notice how great they are at dancing:)

I just don't understand why you are allowed to represent the school in these skimpy clothes but you can't wear them to school. I was at the Veteran's Day celebration and was very surprised at the outfit they had on-didn't leave much to the imagination. The bad thing is it would have been much cuter and more authentic if they had had on a little skirt-longer than the thing they were wearing of course.

Why wasn't the coach's daughter dressed like the rest of them. Her outfit was actually decent.

I have seen grown men ogling these young ladies when they are wearing the "too revealing" outfits. I personally leave when they wear them, because I know some of these girls and know they're great and decent kids. I can't stand to see the way that they were being watched in some of the outfits that they have worn.

I had a friend comment that he didn't know what to do, he felt bad leaving the vets day program, but he felt like a lecherous old man by watching them.

I do not believe this came from a parent....unless it is a parent of a child who cannot dance. Those girls work hard as do their coaches. They always look good. Have you ever looked in a dance catalogue? They are much more revealing outfits to wear. Instead of looking like a jealous person, why don't you give credit where credit is due? Girls, you and your coaches always do the school proud! Keep up the good work!

sorry to disappoint, but I am a parent. and yes they do a great job, no one has said any different, they just need more decent outfits. You want people to notice their talent...not their lack of clothes. also, not in any way jealous...just worried how these pretty girls are talked about.

I am a man who knows some of these young ladies an I have personally walked out rather than see the way these children have been watched by men who wasn't appreciating their dancing skill.
These children, and that they are, should not be put in that situation when a little longer and less revealing outfits would allow them to still be viewed as cutesy and not sexual.

I must add that most of the routines I have seen were cute and appropriate, but some weren't.

the dance teamn chooses outfits that goes with the theme of the dance. i think the vet day outfits were fine, yeah they might have been short, but did that reveal anything? um i dont think so, cause i dont recall seeing anything being revealed. yeah, their girls and they have curves and its gunna show in all clothes they wear so why does it matter? oh well..keep up the good work pantherettes :)

thanks for all the good comments non-haters :) we love you! and we hope you come to watch us dance :)...we're here to entertain you and we dont believe our outfits are in the least bit skanky, but for those who think they are..we're sorry, but we arent going to dress like nuns just because there's perverts out there, that isnt our fault...but thanks to the people who support us, we work really hard, and your what keeps us going :)

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
