Agency asks feds to investigate Portland's allocation of community development funds

PORTLAND a ' A local nonprofit agency is accusing the city of ignoring the needs of low-income and minority residents and has asked the federal government to investigate the city's allocation of bonus community development funds it recieved as part of the federal stimulus package.

These African groups represent the smallest numbers of people and yet scream the loudest. They have been getting far more than their share and now it is time for our representatives to say no to them. They are like children screaming for candy in a grocery store. Parents buy the candy to avoid a scene when they should be showing discipline. City government should exhibit some discipline to this small group of people.
