Stupid WNC hillbilly redneck p.o.s.

I hope they find who did this and shot them in the damn head.

Stupid jerks.

No matter who you are for in this election, killing an animal to "prove a point" is STUPID!

Whoever shot this unfortuate bear cub has no respect for God's creatures and basically
committed murder. Putting Obama signs around the bear's head was another stupid act. I hope the authorities get this guy and slap him in jail.
Despicable! Low class!

Conservatives are upset that someone wasted a good bear.

Liberals are upset that it didn't vote before it was killed.

Another telling indication of the caliber of people(using the term loosely) who gravitate to McCain and Palin.
It speaks volumes.

Once again, it could of been an Obama supporter trying to make McCain supporters look bad. Oh, my bad, CRS, Elvis took common sense with him when he left the building.

No, if it was a stupid NYC city slicker p.o.s, he wouldn't have shot a bear, he would have shot a hillbilly; which actually wouldn't have made him stupid after all.

Your comment is way out of line. I am a McCain/Palin supporter and I abhor anyone who would resort to such behavior. The jerks that did this will likely never be caught so we will never know if this is a prank by students or political for whatever reason. It is sad that nuts from both camps resorts to trying to squash the other side by stealing signs, vandalizing cars that have Obama or McCain stickers, vandalizing campaign offices or political party headquarters. What do these folks hope to gain by resorting to this behavior? Freedom of speech ends when it results in criminal activity and neither side should condone such behavior.

I completely agree with you and I respect people who support McCain and Palin because they in fact hold conservative views.
My point is that if you read many of these forums you will have to admit that virtually all of the comments that are blatantly racist, patently illiterate or derogatorly sexual in nature are from people who are pro McCain.
You are obviously an articulate and rational person, doesnt it trouble you that your candidate attracts such people and make you wonder why?

Kinda like the Obama supporters who rig elections?(ACORN)? Are you the kind who would cheat to win? If one's political leanings mean support of miscreantics, then you are guilty.

You must also be guilty of murder and mayhem, because you support Obama and that piece of human debris, Ayers, also supports him. Is it OK to bomb government buildings? Obama supporters are all terrorists, huh?

Idiot.

This is what happens when a campaign paints its opponent as anti-American, terrorist, socialist, and all the other baseless labels the McCain/Palin campaign is sticking on Obama. One can only hope this is the sad end to McCain's political career.

Dont be a fool.
No one in their right mind supports voter fraud or Ayer's brain damaged '70's radicalism.
Including Obama which he's made perfectly clear Ad Nauseum for the Halt and Lame who didnt get it the first 15 times he's made it clear.
McCain's campain has purposely distorted and blown both of these issues out of proportion as they relate to Obama to promote Fear and Loathing
as a diversion from their utter moral and idealogical bankruptsy on anything having to do with the issues that matter.

I agree completely. Although I am an Obama supporter, I abhor anyone, from either party, who would resort to such childish, dangerous behavior. Shooting an innocent animal to try and prove a point, and who knows what that point was, is reprehensible. It's too bad that a "maturity" test can't be given before a person is able to vote. Some of the remarks on this and other forums point up the need for one. In the meantime, I wish Chief Johnson and his officers a lot of luck in tracking down the perpertrators of this awful act. It smacks of a bunch of drunken frat boys, but it could also be a group that is much worse. At any rate, it's scary.

There are extremists on both sides of the fence. Just because there are nuts that will resort to this tactic, if it is proved to be that, will not cause me to change my support of McCain/Palin. Let me ask you this-Does it concern you that enviro-whackos, often associated with the liberal camp, sometimes will drive spikes into trees being harvested, injuring or killing sawmill workers? This is assault or murder. The Obama camp has folks that steal campaign signs, vandalize cars and property. I remember back in 2004 that there was a group of folks that were going around Asheville spray painting Kerry/Edwards on businesses and homes that had Bush/Cheney signs displayed. This behavior should concern supporters of every candidate and party.
