Christmas Shopping Anyone?

OK who is finished already? What are some of the hottest ticket items this year? Where are the best sales? I have been so wrapped up in all of the other things that are going on, I almost forgot I need to shop :-/ Are "black Friday" deals really worth it? What about secrets to getting good deals? Anybody have any? And babies?? I have a 6 month old granddaughter and I have NO idea what to get for her! The 2 y/o is going to be alot easier since she loves anything with Dora on it.... but what do you get a 6 month old? Its not supposed to be this difficult! LOL

Finished...girl ya done bumped your head!! I haven't even started yet!!!! I LOVE black Friday!! Guess it's just something about the "hunt" for the gift lol. The 6 month old is going to like the boxes more than anything...you know that lol! Go to the baby toy aisle @ walmart or toys r us...look for the age appropriate stuff there. Or there is always Build a Bear...little kids always love a "baby" of their own regardless of whether they are male or female. If I know my kids really really want something (big ticket item) I start watching the sales papers and when I think it's really on sale I go grab it...BUT save your reciept because usually if goes on sale even more AFTER you've purchased it (like w/in a month) they will refund you the difference. YIKES!!! No Black Friday shopping here. The people here camp out at the local walmart ALL night. Every year it gets crazier than ever with someone going to jail for fighting over the sale items. Last year, two women got into a fight over 75 cent panties.

I love Black Friday too!!I go with my sister, her kids will look through the papers Thanksgiving night and write down what they really want and the next morning we bring the list to Santa Clause!!It's actually alot of fun!

Right after Thanksgving, the Friday and the Monday, there are great deals online. The prices are exclusive to online orders and you don't have to go to the crazy sales. And, Walmart, Toys r Us, plus some others do specials on shipping. Sometimes its per item, and sometimes its based on checkout total.

Ok - so I must be the crazy one here....I'm nearly done. Got to buy a couple more things that I'm trying to find. I'm one of those weirdo's that shops year round. I LOVE shopping the day and week after Christmas....when everything is at least 50% off. I have stuff packed away from last year's Christmas....good stuff too! I sell Avon and buy from them year round also. I do sometimes shop Black Friday, but usually only for one or 2 items. Good luck with the grandbaby....they love lots of things....it gets harder to buy for them as they get older...and more expensive items too...Play Stations, Cell Phones, electronics etc. Have fun while you can and good luck!

Thank you for the well wishes but I STILL havent started. Im getting married in early December and will be out of the country for a 7 day honeymoon after and I REALLY want to get it all done before then. I have 3 weeks left and its not looking too promising :-( A co-worker brought me a Toys R Us and Target sale paper so maybe, just maybe, I can get it started tonight

Im with you on that one JB. I miss the days of standing in line for that "Gotta Have" gift and watching the shelves for the Holiday Barbie to come out. I will definately be Black Friday shopping. I really want the leopard print snuggie at JCPenney. They have such great deals for the Holidays and always have some kinda gadety thing for my husband. They have a new brand called She Said that I LOVE.. will be buying for myself too. And some stocking stuffers from Sephora.

I will probably hit up Target too because their Black Friday electronic sales are great too!

Ya'll are too funny. I am ordering another gift tonight. Then I only have 2 people to buy for and one big gift for our son. Then I'm 100% complete. My closet is stuffed...that's the downfall. Have a great day and good luck with the wedding/honeymoon.

LOL Me too! I have been online ordering EVERYTHING since this whole wedding thing started and was SO ready to go shorring for real until I saw the lines in the mall....
