Although the Bible tells us it is a sin to commit adultery, it also says that God can and will forgive you of all sins. If every man " AND " woman that had ever committed adultery were banished from Christianity there would surely be far more empty seats in the churches. It is important that God can forgive Michael of the alleged adultry, however it is far more important that Mrs. Henery forgives him of this act of defiance.

Mike is single. The woman was married and he repeatedly comitted adultry with her. He was responsible for the breakup of that marriage.

No one made her have sex with him. That was her choice. If someone offers it, most of the time it is accepted. If you want to blame someone, why don't you blame her? She was the one that was married to you, not him.

Didn't King David fall into sin with Bethsheba (sp)? Wasn't King David still the "Apple of God's Eye"? Aren't we all sinners? Aren't we all forgiven if we REPENT? I agree with SSGW, there is no degree of sin...If we see a "brother" or "sister" sin aren't we to gently correct them and lead them back into the fold? I am by no means perfect, but my sins are under the blood of Jesus. As will all of those who ask. Grace is given freely to WHO SO EVER WILL...Peace, love and leave Judgment to GOD.

David had his little wee wee where it wasn't supposed to be. God killed his child by Bathsheba and turned his whole family against him. He was soundly punished. Can we deduct by this that adulters should be punished on earth?

Judgment is of God, not man.No man's judgement is righteous or fair. We can only see in part not the whole of eternity. I know his child was killed...the wages of sin are what??? Since Jesus made the sin sacrifice for all the conquered death; we no longer make animal sacrifices to God because it was "religious". The vows an adulter/adultress violate are between them and the God they serve. Not you me & the Topix community. Clean off your own back porch before you start talking about others.
