13 year old girl kidnapped?

Anyone hear of a 13 year old girl taken at Grand Bayou Lake from one of the cabins there? Was said she had been beaten and raped !

I haven't heard anything about it. If it is true I hope they get who done it and pray for the child and family. I have four kids and can't imagine this happening so close to home.

I heard different. I heard that she was walking around and asked where she was staying and she said the cabins and they asked around and nobody there knew her. Then she said that her parents were at the beach....same thing. Then come to find out they turned her over to social services because she said that her parents beat her.....

I heard on th scanner Wednesday morning that Jason Davis found her and she didn't know where she was. He said that he could not understand what she was saying. The ambulance picked her up and took her to the hospital where she was checked out and social services was called in. She was taken from her mother and is now in social service hands. She was in pretty bad shape I heard.

I was told it was her mom that beat her up and was not excited to see her. She is supposed to be in state custody.

Jason, do you remember what time the scanner said this girl was found? and what time the ambulance was called ? Any imput you have would be great

I don't know about a party at the cabins the night before, but I do know that the girl was found on Friday, July 24 around 6:30 - 6:40 AM near the bridge at Grand Bayou.

I also saw in the local Coushatta paper in September that the girl's mother (or step-mother) and father(or step-dad) had been arrested for attempted 2nd degree murder.
I had been watching other sites that told of the girls' siblings being missing (taken by their mother from Coushatta) shortly after the assault. That was never reported in the local Coushatta paper. I could not even find anything in the Shreveport paper.
Once I saw that arrests had been made the other websites stated that the children had been found.
This sounds like a terrible situation.

Yes, Things are not always as they seem. Seems the girl slipped off to a party and when she realized she had gotten into trouble her and a 25 year old made up stories on the parents. These are not bad people they are from Alabama and they are well respected in our town. THE 25 YEAR OLD HOWEVER IS NOT SHE HAS BEEN SELLING DRUGS TO OUR HIGH SCHOOL.
Anyone that has info about the party that night is what our town is intersted in.Yes it is a terrible situation. It tells young teenage children to tell all the lies they want and we will always believe the kids. This makes it hard on them when they become adults all they know is lying, cheating and stealing is okay.
