I recently saw a painting with a caption below which said "Katzer Store, Westhoff, Texas May 25, 1976." Although the signature is difficult to read, it appears the painting was signed by J. E. Schwartz - 1982. I would love to know about Katzer Store and/or the artist (J. E. Schwartz) if anyone has information. I was also be reached at email - [e-mail] Thank you.

The signature is actually E.M. Schiwetz, or "Buck Schiwetz" as he was known, and a famous Texas artist. Most likely yours is a print.
