The O'Donnell parking structure was a County failure from the start. Prior to construction, The Journal Sentinel reported the facility would be no higher than "Ground Level." But instead we wound up with monstrous stonework, blocking our view of the Lake. And it looks like a military garrison, lacking only in machine guns sticking out of the blank spaces. Now the whole mess is shut down as a public danger, after a boy was killed from falling stonework. Milwaukee County, get out of the building business. And get off of our Lakefront.

Hey dan, you stole my lines.
Go get your own common sense rant. LOL.
A parking structure on a lake front is the equivalent of putting a statue in front of your brand new big screen tv during the superbowl!!!!!
It dosen't belong there.
WHY would anyone do that??????

It needs to be torn down i understand the parking situation for ohther lake front properties but the is other parking structures this place is a waste to repair it has a bad reputation/eye sore and lost income due to its past dont waste money on repairs. they need something thats lake friendly put there instead
