And this is news WHY ???

The Roman Catholic Church has been, and still is, the largest homosexual activist and recruiting organization in the world.

At least the Catholic priest Martin Luther had the good sense to leave the church, marry a nun, and father a large family.

Are we supposed to be surprised? I am coming to *expect* articles and events like this. I really, really have begun to wonder if the pope is gay. He whines and whines so much about it.

Look how sick society is. I *have* to point and laugh in the nastiest, most derisive way you can imagine. The world could be full of light and wonder and goodness, and instead people *invent sets of rules* that are literal nonsense, cause themselves damage, and cause *all sorts of problems* just like these. It's like an obsessive sickness they can't stop. It's a shock day after day, hour after hour. The solutions are RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM and they *choose*, they *choose* to be damaged and have problems and cause problems all over the globe, like infected mental patients. So bizarre.

And that is why I reserve my most uncompromising rancor and savagery for those who *dare* to pretend we should be sad and mournful about all this. THEY COULD PREVENT IT and they don't. The solutions are right in front of them, screeching to be implemented, and they shut their ears and screech back, *fighting* logic and *desiring* problems. So do pardon me, I have some more pointing and laughing to do; thanks for reading.

Count on the Italian Catholics to find a new manifestation of tawdry-among-the-ruins.

"they were involved in what prosecutors believe was an organized network of gay prostitution"...

as opposed to a disorganized network of gay prostitution? how many straight priests hire sex workers, whether organized or disorganized? and in italy, i wouldn't put this past meaning the sex workers belonged to a union (they do in the netherlands).

This is so wonderful happening right after the sex scandal with the Fundie state senator from CA. Hope we hear lots more about this one too.

The Catholic Church will never change, but what we can hope for is that it drives more and more people away from it.

And maybe I should write to Rome and ask them to send me a rosary and some cute black Cubans.

I want photos. Those Swiss/Vatican Guards are hawt, and you know there's all kinds of closeted shenanigans going on in that joint, probably starting with the Hitler Youth Pope himself, if EU rumors are to be believed.

>Mr. Balducci was removed from his Vatican post in _The Gentlemen of His Holiness_, an elite group of ushers who serve at the Apostolic Palace when visiting dignitaries meet the pope....

Nope, nothing even vaguely homosexual here. Move along, folks.

Just like a bunch of gay atheists to change the word 'allegations' to the word 'convicted'. What goes around comes around.

Cath, you are in the unenviable position of being both a praticing Catholic and a gay man in a community that is so hostile and disrespectful of your religious beliefs. I do empathize with your pain. I guess the gay community does not believe in tolerating gays who are Catholic.

You have it backward. It's the Catholic Church and its hierarchy that are intolerant of gay Catholics. Others, liker myself, merely wonder out loud why anyone such as "Catholic Created Gay" would want to continue associate with an organization that condemns him/her because he/she is gay.

I don't belong to the RCC because of the reasons you might. I belong because of God/Jesus Christ. It is not a 'social club' for me. Many people put belonging to a church/religion before God but not me. It is a means, not an end. BTW, they don't condemn anyone, but they do disapprove of gay sex as they do all sex except in marriage.

I agree. Why on earth do these people stay with a group of people that condemn them and actively work against them to push their narrow views on ALL people thru civil law ?

It's never made any sense to me.

You mean like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell did for years? And Robertson still is.

Many gays are like little children (not the ones mentioned in the Bible), they recoil at the word "NO".

I doubt too many gay people attend their churches and schools.

Remember awhile ago Liberty University (Now THERE's a misnomer !) ordered the campus Democrats to disband because they claimed being a Democrat was not in keeping with the Christian ideals of the university ?
