<quoted text>I suspect we must agree to disagree - do you favor restricting travel to Cuba while allowing travel to China, Vietnam, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. Why so selective regarding our right to travel? When it comes to human rights violations China is in a league of its own when compared to Cuba. How do you defend our support of non-communist dictators whose brutal regimes are/were no different in their violent control of their people? You seem to want to ignore that aspect of the subject of dealing with dictatorships, given your posts.

That's right!!! China, Vietnam, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia are also all 90 miles off of our coast.
Thank you oh enlightened one for setting me straight on that. I was blind, now I can see!! a miracle...
You continue to ignore U.S. support of many South and Latin American dictators whose records are as bad if not worse than that of the current regime of the Castro brothers. Your sarcasism as to the distance of miles cuts no moral or ethical truth as to the brutal nature of what we have and do support in these regimes.

We have no right to Cuba, to determine its future, to determine is political system regardless of the distance in miles. Imagine if Key West were a Cuban military base (as a lease from the U.S. under pressure from Cuba) and the Cuban government kept political prisoners there and it was used to torture those prisoners.

Imagine if Cuban civilian aircraft flew into U.S. airspace and droped leaflets encouraging U.S. citizens to revolt against its government! Or if these aircraft droped weapons are set off small bombs or dusted valuable crops with a dust that would kill those crops??!!!

Imagine if Cuban operatives had made 20+ attempts to kill our president????!!!!

Come on man, there is shit on both sides of the Florida Straits!

Not to mention our support of dozens of vicious South and Latin American dictators which you have yet to acknowlege as just as wrong! That, my friend is either a myopic position or pure, chosen hypocricy.

Sorry to see you dialog deminish to that of others on this site. You seem to not want to back up your position on equal, across the board treatment of dictators in South and Latin America.

Your narrow, myopic point of view idicates a lack of depth, information and willingness to debate. "A closed mind is a wonderful thing to lose!" :-)
