John McCain's energy plan means that in the future we will all be riding flying pigs to work. Offshore oil drilling to provide cheap gasoline is a delusion. Even if offshore oil could replace every drop of foreign oil tomorrow, Saudi Arabia would still set the world price of oil. Does anyone think Exxon would sell American oil to Americans for a penny less than the world price? Oil companies will sell that oil to China in the blink of the eye.

We need energy sources like wind and solar that Exxon can't ship overseas. McCain's energy plan means the most expensive oil prices that will pad Exxon's profit margins and delay real energy independence. So buckaroos, get ready to saddle up your flying pigs.

I suggest that you go to google.com and look at the Exxon Mobile annual financial statement and learn just what exxon does, how it does it and where and how they get their money.

Then write a letter after you know what you are talking about.

Vivian Wolfe wants me to believe that there are only two choices in this election. So do the Republicans, Democrats and Media. There are other choices and I will no longer vote for either of these corrupt parties that serve only themselves. I will choose freedom.

Mr. Loren, with all the news media and the debates, you may have heard John McCain energy policy but you did not listen.

He is promoting 45 new nuclear plants, solar and wind energy plus a host of other alternative energy plans. He wants America to be free from foreign oil.

McCain's threat of drilling offshore and then Obama flip flopping on his energy policy and reluctantly agreeing, the price of oil has come down over 60%. Yes, the economy is a big factor but the start was the threat of drilling offshore.

I like McCains energy policy. It is common sense.

Awesome Dave. I'm with you.

I'm voting for Barr, but anyone, even the green party candidate who was once certified as the single dumbest member of congress, is a better choice than either of these dufus puppets.

What do you folks think of allowing ex-convicts to have their voting privilege returned?

Personally, I believe felons need to pay their full debts to society before even thinking about regaining their civil rights. Some said felons should never regain the right to vote.

Just because their sentence is complete does not necessarily mean that restitution has been made to the victim.

Until the victim is made 100% whole .... then the convict should NEVER regain the ability to cast a ballot.
