Navajo Code Talkers to be in NYC Veterans parade

In this Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 photo, Keith Little, 85, of Crystal, N.M., attends a book signing with fellow Navajo Code Talkers in Albuquerque, N.M. Little will join 12 other Navajo Code Talkers in the New York City Veteran's Day Parade on Wednesday, Nov.

Well let me school that one brain cell. Speaking in their native tongue, see that was the easy part, the hard part was that the language was put into a code so that even native speakers could not understand what in the world the code talkers were saying. There are accounts of Navajos in the regular military who were captured and ordered to decode what was being said and were killed because they couldnt. There, now go and read up on this stuff. I believe it is the only code that was never broken in wartime. My hat goes off to them and my tear ducts are welling up at this moment.

You are an idiot. Yes, they spoke their native tongue, but it was a difficult language that the Japanese were unable to figure out what the Americans were saying. So yes, these men are heroes, and with their native tongue they helped win the war. What credit can you take?

God Bless the Code Talkers! Let us be thankful that these young Warriors were willing to do their duty and along with men and women of all races help preserve America's freedom. Let us stand together now and love one another and, for my part, try to break an even more complicated Code which is spoken by those politicians who we have elected to high office. I do not understand what they are saying, because that is not what they are doing. Let us not call one another idiots! We are brothers who suffered war together.

US Marines DID NOT develop Navajocode. Back then they DID NOT know the Navajo language existed because academic history books are biased and lacked information on Native Americans. The code was created by 29 Navajo soldiers....even 3rd graders know that now. If it wasn't for the Navajo Code Talkers you would be talking Japanese now, diigis!!

Apparently you don't know history or your just a moron. The Code used by the Navajo Code Talkers was created by 29 Navajos. It was so complex that not even their fellow Marine Navajos were able to decipher it. The confused the Japanese and as a result there were numerous lives saved. So before you're one remaining brain cell dies try reading about the contribution these men made, so that fools like you can enjoy freedom.
